For the record, Arum is stopping this fight from happening. It always has been Arum. A cut does not take six months to heal. Roach even confirmed it was all BS. Spartans were taught these techniques to use in warefare (but were not allowed to compete against the Greeks in the events).
So yes, MMA precedes boxing historically in every way.
