  • Um reading SPEED BUMPS now = great read! Terri does not give her bitdhday in it. My guess is that she is around 67 or so, perhaps born in 1944-45? I like to read autobiography, and her's is one of my faves, just can't put the book down for very long.

  • @umajunkcollector. She was born in 1944.

  • @Ariamaluum. Actually, she may have been born in 1943 because it was said that she graduated from a Catholic school in 1962. Since her birthday is December 11.

  • @Ariamaluum So she will be 68 on Dec 11, 2012. Thanks, someone else PMed me with her 411.

  • @Ariamaluum PS: She also eluded as to where she was actually born. I thought it may be Lakewood Ohio where I used to live for fifteen years. Her aunt lived in Lakewood. I would like to know her addy or at least the street where their house was. I also lived near Drew Carey , we were about the same age, and he grew up just a couple of miles from where I grew up in Parma Ohio. I read his book, and he hung out in places we did back in the 60s. Teri lived in Lakewood during the early 50s.

  • @umajunkcollector. I read from a source that she graduated from Magnificat High School, a Roman Catholic School, in 1961. So, she could be 70 this year.

  • Always the babe, even now!

  • I would too

  • I`d still do her

  • Love Terri Garr. Is this the guy from Friends, Gunther?

  • Teri is one of those women that you WISHED you married. At least as in her public or movie persona. Don't know hat her real personality is like but she always seemed that she would be the loyal wife and mother. Something you can't find anywhere today.

Still beautiful despite age or her MS.

  • To all MS'ers out there: TRY the gluten free diet. I did and I am, fore the most part, symptom free. I used a cane...gone...and I gave away my scooter! My Doctor said it is a healthy diet and encourages all to try it. With no success on any drugs I resorted to try the diet. It worked! I saw a difference in 2 weeks!! Stay healthy!

  • Gunther!

  • Terri is an inspiration for anyone. Looking back now, that little part she had in Dumb and Dumber, I see now the symptoms of MS she was masking with medicine. It shows in her on the screen. What a fighter. You gotta love this woman.

  • I've always loved this woman. Speedbumps is a great read. She's incredibly courageous.

  • There is now a Reformed Multiple Sclerosis Society that is urging for the medical community to check out Dr Paolo Zamboni's discovery that MS is caused by poor blood drainage from the brain. The answer to restore this blood drainage from the brain is angioplasty. Watch the before & afters for this surgery called CCSVI on youtube- simply amazing. In just 24 hours a world of difference. Standing on one foot eyes closed in just 24 hours!

  • Read the book & got the talking book CD for my car!!! She's such a vivacious, positive person without being "all that matters is me" sort of person. Speedbumps are exactly as she describes, "slown down, get over them (any of life's knock-backs) and then drive flat to the boards thru life. Good on you, Teri!!

  • She's so cool and laid back -- never heard a bad word about her. God bless her in fighting that MS.

  • HOW ARE YOU DOING TODAY TERRI

  • She's GREAT!! I'll get that book. MS is survivable?!?

  • What a knockout she was/is - smart, sexy and funny.

  • Teri (I can use her first name 'cause I did a Diet Pepsi commercial with her)

She's so rare, she can be sexy and funny . An Emmy to whoever cast her as Lisa Kurdrow's mother in 'Friends'.

  • god bless you teri garr

  • I'm interested in the book now. Gotta order it.

  • she was so fuckin hot in young frankenstein

  • Gunther LOL

  • Wait... GUNTHER?!?!

  • Comment removed

  • @tuttrussify What. Is that some kind of a joke?

  • I think that's the dude who quit JetBlue.

  • Teri I've loved you since I saw you first in Frankenstein Junior. You're awesome and nothing can hide your talent and beauty. Many thanks for lots of wonderful moments. Wish you all the best. Your biggest danish fan.

  • Hi ALLL my ELVIS frwineds ?

I luv MY CHIKKEN NOUGATS OK!

    BLess,Frwiends,STC,Allen

  • I'm going to look it up. I have spoke with woman that has had MS. I had hoped she explained more here. She was an awesome actor even though she felt she had some let downs. Guess in that business, it can be just like normal life of any interview. Don't accept NO. Keep going!

  • I didn't know Gunther, from "Friends", was also an interviewer.

  • when I was a kid she was like a smiley person. My mom was out the door to go to the sticky wicket to meet with some drunks and jews. So Terry you were my tv mom and mom you are my hero.

  • Isn't she "part" Jewish herself???

  • shes the most down to earth big person you'll ever meet and notice the interessting facial expressions

  • Beatles, schmeatles. Terri's sitll the greatest....

  • Ms. Garr, if you read this you are in my prayers. I have enjoyed your acting ever since I first saw you on Star Trek. Your body of work speaks volumes about your personal strength and diverse acting skills. I wish for you the best!

  • Well said. An under rated talent. It seems an incredible person too!

  • Think what you want, but the truth is "MS" has 3 possible causes- Fungus, vaccines, or vitanin D deficiency.

That is what we "call" MS

  • Bollocks. If it was that simple, it would have been solved long ago. There's lots of research that points at both genetic AND environmental factors. There may be a Vitamin D connection, sure, but fungus? WTF? Look up FTY720 - a fungus derivative is the next big MS therapy. Vaccines? Sheesh ...

  • Pin,,, Your not serious, right, no such thing as MS... good thing your not my doctor

  • Teri, I hope you check your messages from time to time, because I must tell you there is no such thing as MS. What they call MS is actually caused by yeast/fungus. Do some research on yeast and don't totally trust doctors. They mean well but they just don't know.

    Best Regards. Mel

  • You are an idiot. MS is not caused by yeast/fungus. You really are a pinball.

  • p.s. James Michael Tyler also rocks. Always hilarious on "Friends" and obviously a very good-natured and educated individual.

  • I love Teri Garr so much. She is a tremendously talented and accomplished actress and comedienne. Such a positive woman with a fantastic and unique sense of humor. I wish her nothing but happiness, love, and contentment.

  • I saw her today on Assignment: Earth. Very hot and I wish Terri all the best.

  • Same here, knew she was famous for something and thought her acting was very good so checked her up.

Turns out I was right, she has done shed loads of stuff!
