EA hires a lot of non-football watchers to do their graphics. Case in point - Madden 04, a rb hooks the ball over the goal post when he's hit for a loss. And a player kneels on the ground throwing a tantrum when an offsides penalty is called. Right! Just total non-football watchers make some of this shit. It's still the best Madden for a lot of other reasons though.
