i didnt follow any steps at all. I didnt even download any update. I was just showing my friend how i "couldn't" send pictures and how I got the red icon, but then It just sent, and he got the photo. I about shit my pants lol

ok check this out i did the whole ordeal and without useing the custim carrier file one cause everytime i try to download it it pput into zip file and dost save it right so i skip that part did medianet thing and bam the lil mms deal poped up on my phone it worked once and than it stoped =(( any suggestions

hey if it is in a zip just remove the .zip and put .ipcc or the .ipcc should be there i did from other video and it worked idk if thats ur problem but if it is then there ur soulution :)

someone was saying that att is starting to catch the hack and disabling the pay per use feature again once you switch back to the iPhone... so that might be it.

I'm on an unlimited plan and I switched it to the non-iPhone text plan with my sim in my old blackberry bold and no luck. I can inser the picture in the text and it just won't send successfully. It looks like 3.1 is close though which should include mms.

Did you call or goto at&t and have them enable pay per use text/picture/video messaging? Even if you have a plan already where you get unlimited, I think you need the pay per use stuff enabled still.

don't worry, I've tried this before. AT&T will remove the settings to your iPhone. They ain't dumb, they will detect it the more you use your phone and see that you were switching the SIMs to a non-iphone to get MMS activated on your iPhone. They removed mine after a few days of using it. same will happen to you. I just quit and got tired of doing these steps again and again just to send pics.

better to wait till end of august for the official release of the MMS update.

Hi I'm using the beta ver 8.2 and when I use the cmd command I keep getting a error is that because u use the updated ver of iTunes 8.2
