im from germany and i can say that spanish is a very beautiful language and its very often used in amerika too and its easier to learn than japanese^^

i have experience with all 3 of those languages. spanish is not only useful but rather easy to learn compared to most. french is similar but has tougher pronunciations, and japanese is easy on the pronunciation, but it's very hard otherwise as it's not Germanic or Latin-based (easier for Westerners), and they use more than one character set to write. most japanese aren't completely fluent in their language, it's that complex.

@pieookie If I were you I would learn French, if you manage to learn french in the states then spanish should be easy, 'cause you have all the latin americans speaking spanish so you'll learn it faster. You should know that in the states people speak a really dirty kind of spanish, I was there and I couldn't get two sentences in a row and I spanish is my mother tongue and I speak it everyday!
