for some reason I can't get a "reply to" for your comment. Believe me, teens are very aware of sexuality and their bodies. Just not many have the boldness to reveal that to the public.
haha! you caught me! I don't actually speak tagalog. I just thought your comments were so cute this morning and I saw you were so young and in the Phillipines so I asked one of my relatives to translate for me to you.
I have been to the Philippines twice though, but not your provence. Manila, Davao, Bagio! I have been lazy about learning your language though.
i guess this person's ok..."gifted"....ummm.....i'm pretty sure every1 has seen a lot of "art" and that jus looked similar to stuff seen before....nothing too special...but i guess its ok
I think a young artist makes their first steps by imitation. It is much later that they actually develope a strong enough technique and maturity to express something that is "totally" from their soul. I was just impressed that this person chose this direction and these are just drawings which only show thoughts and not necessarily finished work. I do know that this person won a first place award on the state level so there is credibility that there is talent and potential.
... then again, shock is a very important human emotion that takes serious talent for an artist to be able to cause with a drawing. It's a mixed colostomy bag.
Haha! I really enjoyed your comments. Especially the colostomy bag and Pandora’s Box! Thanks for sharing your witty thoughts. Especially clever for a 104 year old woman.
Thanks! But honey, if only you knew how old I REALLY was. ..; P (I'm still trying to convince myself there's no way that I'm THAT far up the hill)But everyone, make no mistake: this kid really IS talented.
Not many of us (including me) are the age that we claim on youtube. You are not over the hill when your mind is still passionate, witty and articulate.
continued: These drawings seem more for shock value than for anything else, to me. I don't agree that this is an example of one who "pushes their mind." Someone has very good control of a pen and I don't question their talent but I DO think they should dig a little deeper.
In fact at any age, I don't think it wise. I am surprised when young kids put together a nice video and then state their name in the credits at the end. Unless they are just making up names.
a little freaky is a good thing. It means we are all being pushed away from the center and toward the limits of our minds. Some leap in there and others back off.
well, judging by the last 2 pictures.. she must have some knowledge of sex or the human body. So is it alright if i ask how old she is? The art's awesome and i'm quite jealous. =P
Yes, it's a version of 'A Perfect Circle'. They rule, I like the song, it's just another style. You're just close-minded...anyway, I like the art though it's a bit disturbing
haha! no one is going to hate you for your honest opinion here. There is no right or wrong when it comes to your feelings. All this is subjective to your own life experiences and I am happy that you "felt" something enough to comment. (Besides it keeps the video on the first page of "most discussed" so I can reach more people. lol)
I agree with you that as pure music nothing can match Lennon’s performance of his own creation (which is why I referenced a link to it in a message above), but I felt that this interpretation of his work better matched the drawings.
Happy you appreciated the work of the artist though
I’m sure two minutes of your life is real valuable. Next time keep your searches to words like “butts and hoes” and you will get your two minutes worth.
oh my god i don t know what to say what kind of music is this?as i heard the song my hairs go up. as i read a one comment hear about the song i searched it, as i hear the song of lennon's just like its ok the tune the tempo i feel its just calm. but when i heard the new one just like ive heard a song from a horror movie. the tune was like saying about darkness whew im scared of this song. and yes as you say the pics. was eeew
Is someone "havinfun"? gribblet was created two minutes before commenting and watched 1 video. Jonyboy12 did the same. Are you arguing with yourself? It's OK with me becasue it moves the video up the charts.
The song is Imagine by John Lennon in the early 70's about the world situation especially Viet Nam. It is sad to say that 35 years later the words have even more meaning. The group Perfect Circle did this new version which really accents the darkness of the words more that the original Beatles type sond that Lennon used. Both versions are on youtube with video.
i think these were very well drawn and kinda gave me the chills. 3rd grade doodles my ass. beautiful and grotesque, something which i think u might've been going for.
Amazing! It seems that youtube has brought out the pseudo intellectuals. They must think they are visiting Le Louvre not sitting in front of their computers bored to death. Lighten up! These are just drawings in a slide show. It sure beats "clickmelive.com"
Our minds are creepy if we allow them to open up and especially if we express what is in them fully without censoring out thoughts for fear of the observers reaction
agg gross. i just realized you still have these videos up. ick ick i hate hate hate my drawings.
