  • electric tears is one of the most beautifull albums I ever listened! just awesome luv the Bucket!!!

  • sounds like 18 & life.

  • This can change your whole mood in just a little 3 minutes.

    The man is a hero.

  • LMAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Slash only wish he could play like this..don't all us guitar players though

  • "sell your clothes, live by the bucket"

  • i tried learning this but i just cant get the tone!!! help me someones :L its like.. kinda bassey with a little distoriton? are delay?

  • @Brentypooz gain 3-4 i guess, yes little bassy use the neck or middle pickup and tune the pickups down to 7-6 on guitar

  • @Brentypooz for the tone, high mids, high trebble, low bass... and an overdriven sound plus reverb and delay, (just a little bit!).... The backing guitar sound is clean with a bit of chorus.. (you should get a loop station).

The progression is in C# minor (also E major) and goes c#m(add the 6th and the 7th)-> B5 ->Asus2

  • @Sivels Thanks ill try that :)

  • Sprzedam gitarę Dimavery St-203 razem ze wzmacniaczem harley benton HB_10G

Wszystko sprawne, do gitary dorzucam pokrowiec oraz parę drobiazgów (wajcha, komplet strun itp.)

  • 3 people witchout hearts it's psycho-fan slash.

  • definitely my fav from Bucket. The chorus riff alone is enough to make me melt.

  • taking my soul close to the best memories of my life!!!!!!!

  • the 3 dislikes had to press the dislike buton because the didnt like it THEY LOVE IT !!!!!

  • Soothsayer was in guitar hero 3.

  • what two fucking idiots think they can give negative to this song. do you have no fucking soul ... you empty soul less pieces of shits. fuck you and go listen to your pop.

  • @maseratiquattroport youre comment made me laugh so much, that i gave this video a third dislike,

  • I like this dude. Just found out about him from aol radio the rock instrumentals section.

  • I have way more favourite Buckethead songs than I have Metallica, Guns n' Roses, AC/DC, Iron Maiden, Nightwish and so on all together..

They are many and Buckethead is only ONE!!

  • OMG 0:05 - 0:09 ORGASMIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I tabbed this song on Guitar Pro, find it on ultimateguitar ^^

  • @GuitarFTFW

    i tapped your mom.

  • When I hear this I think about the beauty and frailty of life. ^o^

  • I almost cried when I listened to this song.

  • the thing i respect most about buckethead is that he wears a mask. his shows are about the music, not about getting famous (unlike slash) slash is fuckin overrated. slash and gun and roses suck ass

cuz of his mask, buckethead doesnt hav them paparazzis 24hours up his ass that slash seems to enjoy lol

  • It is recommended that those of us who enjoy this piece, copy this link, and wherever comments like, "Buckethead is just a useless shredder with no emotion..." appear, simply post this link,,,,and leave a cheesy smiley-face (because middle fingers are not yet available)! ;)

  • @312chicagoadam I use an "n!m" to denote the middle finger (it's the closest I get, anyway)

  • i like slash and guns n roses and all but slash can't even reach the dirt under buckets shoes

  • buckethead is mozart in modern times and instead of picking up his violin, he chose to pick up his guitar.

  • i u play this song in your farewell,.,.,..,u'll go to heaven

  • i fu play this song in your farewell,.,.,..,u'll go to heaven

  • i luv this song it calms me down when im really pissed off gotta give it to buckethead thumbs up

  • i dont think buckethead and santana should be spoken in the same sentence....buckethead is the best... no one can play slow emotions songs like this and then also play the heaviest fastest shit also.....he is the best overall player ever!!!!!!!!

  • when i heard this song, i actually believe he seen witches on the heath and played this whilst he watched them.

  • My girlfriend fell asleep while I was playing this for her

  • fucking greatest album.... need to buy this already. so creative, it kills me

  • Two people are gonna die! Who could possibly hit dislike?

  • This is a great melody

  • Electric Tears is such an emotional and soulful album. Definatly some of his best work.

  • one of my teachers last name is heath so in a awkward way it makes me think of her sometimes

  • I love the clarity and talent that comes into this music, and yet, the emotion is so high, it will give any musician goosebumps. Excellent piece of music.

  • It's like he really lets his emotions through his music.

  • name ANY great guitarist that plays metal that can come even close to this emotional piece of art...

  • Go listen to rain by Jason Becker, then go listen to Mabel's fatal fable. Although he tends to play more shredding stuff than Buckethead, Jason Becker has some good emoional pieces as well as awesome shred metal stuff.

  • @REPTARisGNARLY thats why i like jason more than yngwie or batio, he actually plays with a lot of emotion on par with gilmour or santana

  • all shall perish - greyson, memories of a glass sanctuary

  • @buckmanz Steve Vai, Jason Becker.

  • @buckmanz death, voice of the soul

  • I didn't believe in God until I heard this...

  • @DomingoCorriente and why is that.. are u a little retarded?

  • That was fucking beautiful.

I not long ago discovered Buckethead, I'm amazed and moved by every new song I hear :)

  • me 2 but i heard from him the movie call ghost of mars

  • whoever says buckethead shows no soul in his music, listen to this.

  • Comment removed

  • yes, like everyone says slash is the best guitarist in the world, but all he is is a good guitarist with a insanely large image. he also is the only guitarist they know and they tend to just say he is better only because thats the only guitarist they know.

  • @3childrenofbodom3 they probably only like slash because he was featured on guitar hero. buckethead is to awsome for it. Expert for buckethead is childplay for him.

    BUCKETHEAD FOREVER!

  • @Irishpuma94 im one of the biggest buckethead fan in the world and im not all for slash but you do realize that buckethead has been on both guitar hero 2 and 3, right?

  • @scubasteve2323 which was the one on guitar hero 3? :0 i only knew that jordan was on 2.

  • @dragoonis1001 soothsayer was on guitar hero 3...it was a down-loadable track

  • @3childrenofbodom3

im getting tired of these children of bodom fans

  • @3childrenofbodom3 Im a slash fan D:

But i've listened to probably like 50 buckethead songs. lol

  • @3childrenofbodom3 Hey, they got their opinion, shut up and listen to Bucket

I myself listen to some Slash

  • @Grizzlism 3 words: Learn to write

  • and many others

    Hills of Eternity

Watching the Boats with My Dad

For Mom the list goes on...

  • of course. thats the great thing about having 300 buckethead songs on my ipod, amazing variety of what kind of buckethead i want to listen to.

  • no one ever says that yo

  • BUCKETHEAD= the Greatest ever!

  • does any 1 know where i can get the backing track for this?

  • make one urself? lol not hard

  • what with no recording equiptment. lol

  • Great song!

  • It may seem kinda depressing, but that's what makes it great. Whether he's depressed, worried, happy, content, whatever it is, it's emotion. And to display that through guitar is a beautiful kind of music.

  • This guy reminds me alot of mike oldfield , his playing is quite spectacular . The first time i heard about buckethead i thought i wouldn't like him as i'm a more proggy / jazzy sort of person , but i was COMPLETELY wrong , he is an amazing guitarist and is definately like mike oldfield , and a bit like david gilmour as well . incredible.

  • YOUR MUM! HAHAHAHHAHAA!

    (dont hate we're moderate friends)

  • He's more like Buckethead

  • i've recently thought alot about who's better? slash or tom morello? but now i don't care, cuz buckethead is the best

  • tom morello sucks! his guitar parts are so easy. sure I love Rage and he has a cool sound he is not very talented.

  • I heard about this guy not to long ago. I never bothered to check him out until a few days ago. Better now than never. His music is amazing.

  • listen to the 2-string bend @ around the 40 second mark and follow it with killer harmonix phrasing @ the 50 second mark, just insanely talented.

  • This song for some reason reminds me of October for some reason. It has that feeling that feels good...

  • I love the feeling of October

  • i love october.. i remember back then i would always listen to the misfits in october :)

  • one amazing song after another bucket is the shit, respect the music!

  • @TheTomass18

one blowjob after another, i respect your mom. amazing !

  • 0:42 AWESOME!!! FUCK!!

  • i heard that abozt 100 times in the last 2 day´s

touchs my heart, dont know why

    5 / 5

    sry for bad english

    i play the e-guitar about 7 month's now

can someone explain me how he made the sound at 0:17 ? same at 0:34

    thx for possible answer.

    Nice Song

  • if you want it in english, its called a rake. you strike more than one string while bending a note, but mute the other strings, so you get a couple of mutes right before the bend. sounds nice doesnt it. :)

  • thx for your answer!

you helped me a lot :)

    i will try it continuing

    Sry for bad english again.

5 / 5 FOR ME one of the greatest guitarsongs :)

  • heard padmesana? thats a great song to cover...

  • now i heard padmesana!

it's a very nice song but i'm not ready to cover

    any song yet :)

but my time will come thats for sure

    thx for your answer!

  • thers always a second guitar on bucketheads songs

  • Yeah brother....this to rise to pink floyd

  • What key is this song in?

  • The chord being picked in the backing is a C#m7.

    So C# minor works...

  • I shall go into a kfc with a bucket and mask on my head blasting Bucketheads glory through a boombox while I sick my unicorns of death and flocks of slunks to eat everyones souls and melt their eyes as they listen to the awesomeness of the almighty buckethead. Amen

  • lol yes! love buckethead and my first job ever was at a KFC!!

  • KFC FTW:D

  • Amazing, buckethead is the first artist that i've come across that i could buy an entire album and love every song on it. Never in my life have i wanted an entire album until now, simply awesome.

  • Great song, but where's the real intro? I hate it when people edit out those parts of Buckethead songs.

  • that is the actual intro man...maybe your thinkin of another song similar to this one.

  • No, on the album version Buckethead has a part where he inserts random guitar playing, but almost all of his songs with those on YouTube have them edited out.

  • Huh,never knew that. Guess i gotta get me some albums and see what else im missing.

  • Such an amazing song! The rhythm guitar is perfect, the lead is perfect. Perfect, perfect! This song easily gets to your feelings, it's hard to describe.

  • wow...the guitar is heartbreaking when played the right way...bucket head truly captured its beauty...it reminds me of th9e last like 1:00 of the song the end by bullet for my valentine

  • you crewed it out when u named bullet for my valentine, dont comapre music with " media crap" plz

  • Buckethead fans are smart. "Modern rock" sucks.

  • ;_; That brought me to tears.

  • so much passion, you can truly feel this song

  • such sadnes in his songs, such meaning in his songs. their will never be anyone like buckethead ever. he is a man that can not be cooped no mater how hard anyone trys to coopy him. buckethead, may you live on for ever, and may your songs never fad.

  • I've always preferred bucketheads melodic songs as opposed to his shredding!, which is incredible but the colma and electric tears albums are so beautiful and relaxing. And as for the title of this song, I think he names them to imprint an image in your head, what that image becomes is up to you, which makes the song all the more mysterious :) awesome stuff Buckethead

  • i agree dude, i have electric tears, population overide and colma. They are the best imo. I prefer the more melodic stuff too, I know what u mean about the track titles too. Earth heals itself is an awesome track, i listen to it every day driving home from work, it just chills me out, like most of his tunes.

  • wow.i really wanna playthis song.(soon)ill b able 2.PPL FEEL FREE TO LOOK OUT ON ONE OF MY VIDEOS PLAYING THIS SONG.i'd really apreciate it.(respond to my comment-feel free)

  • Great song but what's the meaning of the title anyway?

  • sorry I read witches on the HEAT :D my mistake

  • not enough views in my opinion

  • ook mooi

  • he's a god of shredders but he also write many emotional songs!

    he's rocks n awesome!!

im a big fan of him!

    haha..

    BUCKETHEAD 4 LIFE!!

  • At 1:07 he has a hospital band

  • Maybe it's a backstage pass.

  • man Bucket should really come to Saskatoon...would love to see this live..

  • i cried

  • This has always been my favorite chilled out Bucketjam. Reminds me of that myterious autumn feeling quite a bit, and who doesnt love to be reminded of that? especially through this majestic and delicate guitar playing.

  • wow, only person besides myself i've ever heard describe, or even relate to " that mysterious autmn feeling" but i totally gotcha. and i feel it too. the smashing pumpkins mellow songs usually give me that feeling as well.... but i've always been suspcious if it's just because their name has pumpkin in it.... lol

  • 'Mysterious autumn feeling', never heard it called that, but i like it. I think buckethead can make any feeling he likes. For a man with no face he shows some passion Ü

  • I'm inspired by master guitarists of all types and genres, and I think Bucket is too. In some songs you can hear him paying homage to David Gilmour (anyone notice the double-bend on this song? Classic Gilmour.) Other songs it's Beck, or Vai, or Jimi, or Slash... Etcetera etcetera. I love them all and I wish I could play them all. Buckethead loves them all and HE CAN play them all!

  • Even if Buckethead is inspired by these artists; he also has his own unique sound. No one can write a Buckethead-quality song except for him.

  • I admit i used to say "Buckethead sucks, all he can do is play fast." How wrong i was.

  • i know way too many people like that. i wish i could convince them...

  • exactly the same for me until i heard whitewash and all in the waiting and soothayer.

  • i want to hear bucketheads music at my funeral.

  • well, you wont hear it... you'll be dead but i can tell you all about it when i die

  • hahahaha true!

  • lol well then... way to RUIN my future funeral.

  • no way, it should still be ok, provided that you serve some shrimp

  • Comment removed

  • No problem. Drop us a comment when you're dead, and we'll all come play it for ya!

  • i just love how buckethead has a theme to each album he makes, emotional, metal, soothing, crazy electric cyborg noises, his style is sooo unique, it's to the point, u dont know what his new album is gonna be like. yeah he made a couple of soothing emotional albums, then he tosses in death metal, then other shit, i just love how he makes his music! i fucking love this genius!!

  • every time i think i have Bucket head's style figured he throws somthing like this in there

he has so much diversity he is simply one of the most creative modern musicians out there

  • Buckethead is simply amazing. Sure he can shred and play insanely fast, but he has this other amazing side, a side that has GREAT emotion in his songs.

  • its whne people assume thisis his only stuff other than shredding, I get pissed off. Like, he's an amaaaaazing shredder, and fantastic slow guitarist, and he can play awesome rhythym as well. He's all around perfect at guitar.

  • most people dont know have never heard of these songs by buckethead.. everyone should know how beautiful these are

  • it's like he plays notes that aren't on the guitar :o

  • He plays through telekinesis. That's how haha.

  • he rocks my ass off!!!

  • Bravo Buckethead, bravo.

  • es una de las canciones mas sentimentales de este disco junto con padmasana

  • convengo

  • I first heard this song when I was maybe 14 years old and it just floored me. I had to learn it immediately. Pure beauty!

  • Did you learn it?

  • yeah i did

  • If you have some free time, could you maybe post some tabs?

  • no you didn't :s i only know the rytm but the lead guitar is pretty difficult

  • It seems like hendrix and david gilmour at the same time... its just so beautiful and full of emotion

  • i love machete and mantaray. he has a special sound that makes you dream. he can make his guitar sing and cry. that's what i love about him

  • yeah he does man thats why i love this song buckethead is amazing

  • yeah man i just wish all music was like hes and hendrix is my guitar god every one say he was not that good at guitar but i said fuck you without hendrix there be no emotions in music it slfe you know

  • yeah i know doesnt he sound like hendrix here tho?

  • I wanted to cry at the end

  • buckethead is sorta like hendrix he puts all of his emotions into his song

  • one of the best song on that album

  • yeah its good my favorite is this and spell of the gypsies
