Saw her last night at Bury St Edmunds. Fantastic. She played a lot of her latest album. It's her first for five years and it's a craacker. Anybody buying it will not be dissapointed. I love Elkie Brooks, she gives pensioners a good name.

Went to her concert in Eastbourne (cant remember the year), I do remember a hair tingling performance and when her son came on stage, I just knew that this Lady is in a class of her own!!!!
My parents would play the "Pearls" album endlessly when I was a kid and now I listen to it all the time myself...absolutely timeless when you're as talanted as Elkie!
Shocking outfit, HOWEVER, her VOCALS are superb! She has just been to Bridlington in England, and at 64, looks amazing! Sounds as good as ever! GO ELK!! xx
