When GM finally replaced that Caviler. IT was so outdated. IT was 10 years in production, and when the Cobalt was released it was outdate from day one, cuz GM cannot compete with japanese or germans on cars. WAY TO GO GM.

i disagree. the ecotec is a pretty decent little engine. i'm pretty sure it was either john force or ligenfelter that pushed an ecotec car into the 6's in the quarter, making it the first 4cyl to run a 6 second 1/4 mile. the rest of the car is on par with little imports as well. also, american manufacturers have been underrating power outputs recently, especially with the 03/04 cobra and srt-4. hopefully this will follow suit.
