to anyone who's thinking about this shoe, FUCKIN GET IT!! out of all the shoes i have skated, theres somthing about this shoe that stands out and has a bunch of features that lacked in some other shoes...this shoe will make you get bolts everytime, pop 2x higher than you normally do, looks great, lasts months, everything about this shoe is awesome, this is really a phenomenal shoe. and trust me on this because i barely every comment and i took time to write this!!!!!

These. As said in earlier comments, chukkas are chill shoes. I'm skating chukkas, Im a very novice skater (I can't even ollie) and my heels hurt just from trying to learn ollies and the outsole starts to peel away from the sole very fast.

i've had both and while i love chukka lows for just chillin, the g-codes are perfect for having a sesh then just hangin out.

@shitferny man, the herman 2's were the best shoes I ever skated period. they were comfortable, they had grip, they only blew out on the toes (cause I kickflipped the hell out of them, and i learned to hardflip in em) and on top of all that they look amazing.

I've never skated the g-codes (i want to), but they have the same sole. I would think that the only difference between the two would be ankle support, because the g-codes look like they're cut alot lower.
