Well I finally finished learning the song tonight - after about a week of playing the parts over and over! But, what i immediately noticed (I don't know if its true to all guitar players) is that when I listen to the song the bass line is completely separate from the treble; however, when I play, I hear the music as a whole and I learn it as a whole. In other words I see 010030 as a chord instead of two parts of different progressions. I find that very interesting.

Mixing a steady, "independent" bass like that with a melody is something very tricky to do. You did an excelent job! I hope to see more arrangements and performances from you!

I really love it when the melody and bass lines play different rhythms. (I guess that is what you meant) After listening to the song for a while, it's not even that difficult to play anymore.....but even more fun. =)
