  • Awesome guitar, awesome solo cover, next time wear a t-shirt though...

  • Dude, one of my favorite solos on Tribute...and you nailed the playing and the sound...thanks.

  • Great tone and playing, but to get anywhere close to his sound, you need to use more vibrato everywhere and let some emotion come out of your fret hand. You seem almost robotic while playing, especially the bends. Tone is great and I'd kill for that custom.

  • great job man and great tone

  • God I love your tone.

  • Mate, you are very, very good. Excellent teacher as well. Been following you about 15 mins and I'm beginning to crack it. Cheers lad.

  • @branstons - Thank you. Very much appreciated.

  • it lacked the emotion randy has when he plays, but your precison is amazing, u just play sorta like a robot lol, but Im guessing uve played this a million and one times (due to the fact that its a flawless cover)

  • Man i really like your calm style of playng (Y) :D!!!

  • sir very nice playet n i like this guitar soo much i saw on gibson but can u tell me which gibson exact model is this ??

  • @rackstar100 I think it's a Gibson Custom Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar. I'm not positive though.

  • Badass Cover Man Randy Rhoads Rules

  • Nice, It sound really good

  • Very nice!

  • how many cameras do u have on u dude?? nice tone

  • dude amazing cover, can you please give me your amp settings because I'm learning to play this but when I play it isn't that great because there's too much feedback

  • @mattydagg where did you find a version of snow blind with randy rhoads playing?

  • That's awesome, man.... You rock... Randy/Ozzy versions of Sabbath are just better... Me and my band cover Paranoid, Snow Blind and this... Play all 3 as the Randy versions.. You sound great... Keep rockin, bro....

  • holy shit you stood up fast

  • this was really good!!! but your tone...omg no!!! haha less reverb/echo/whatever man!

  • Man, you are a Guitar God!!!!!

  • That was great.

  • fantastic, sounds as if he was playing it himself.

  • @anthrow Thank you. I read all kinds of diverging opinions about the tone ! This time, I pushed the reverb, not unlike the sound on that song from the Tribute album. Some disagree but I like it.

  • that was pretty amazing.... very clean!

  • how long you been playing for ?

  • @1234Sebster ... started in my early teens, stopped playing about 10 years ago, and been occasionally picking the guitar over the past two years.

  • nice cover and rig man i need to look for that tab book

  • know where you can find the tabs on the internet?

  • damn thats a nice Les Paul...awesome playing as well :)

  • this song was tony iommi not randy roads but great playing

  • randy roads made a cover with ozzy that they played live

  • @stringzmusic661 it's randy's solo. he put in his own solos when it came to covering Sabbath songs

  • Wow, NICE!!!

  • oh hahaha didn't know it was the tribute album xD anyway still great!

  • ok :)

  • i was wondering why you put it as randy's solo when it's an iommi piece? xD

  • This beautiful solo is Randy's. Tribute album (live): Cleveland, Ohio, 1981.

  • Well-excuted pal, it really is an amazing solo. What fascinates me is that Randy probably came up with it in about 5 minutes... he was that much of a virtuoso.

  • Yep. I listened to various bootlegs and think this version is Randy's very best by far. Thus, I wonder... Like the band knew the show would be recorded, and Randy did what he had to do.

  • amazing job, I love all of your Ozzy/Randy covers, especially your Mr. Crowley and Flying High Again

you should definitely put up more!

  • Thanks a lot, I appreciate. Yes, I will put some more...

  • I look forward to it!

And i gotta admit, Im actually a kind of a big fan of your work

  • I don't know if anyone else did, but it gave me quite a chuckle to see him randomly pop around the room in different places playing the solo.

  • in which tunning is this song???

  • The song is in C#m (the guitar tuning is regular E).

  • dude..perfect cover...can u send or give the link to the tab???plssss??

  • i hope i wasnt the only one who had a slight chuckle at the video information section to the right of the video where it says the album is called "Master of Realty" instead of reality tee hee

  • :) Typo. Corrected. :)

  • Any tabs for this man? WIthout one of my favorite Randy solos. That melodic part towards the metal always gives me goosebumps. Amazing job!

  • The whole Tribute album was transcribed by Wolf Marshall and edited by Cherry Lane. A must have.

  • Yeah then maybe I should but it then. Randy's guitar playing is astounding live. Great that they took the time to tab it out!

  • nice man

  • well done

  • I don't know how you kids play stuff like this so easily. I beat the damn skin off my hands choppin off this piece! Hey man, good playin but put on a cooler shirt.

    Later....

  • Funny to be called a kid. Last time was a looong time ago. Cheers.

  • it sound more like techno than a heavy metal solo:S:S

  • you sound more like a retard dog than a human being

  • its just my opinion dude......everybody have the right to say his opinion

  • you said that the solo sounds like techno, that's called pure ignorance, not opinion

  • Thats AWESOME! Check my crazy train

  • good cover

  • i have the same guitar as that, great playing

  • nice gibson

  • he got it.. though it seems really straightforward some reason =\

  • You did a great job...thank you! Finally got to see what the hell Randy was doing! Excellent.

  • You're more than welcome. Thanks for your appreciation.

  • please i need the tabs man!

  • Your guitar songs amazig.Keep Rockin'

  • probably my favorite live randy solo. you nailed it

  • that was deliciously evil

  • Love this comment. Thanks.

  • Nice one, i will try to learn to this too :)

  • How did you get the tab to this song?

  • That transcription is Wolf Marshall's and was published in the excellent magazine Guitar for the Practicing Musician.

  • iommi or randy

  • Randy.

  • yup what a stupid question lol. i subed love your vids

  • Nice playing.

  • Thank you.

  • Great tone! Nice playing.

  • thats awesome man, well done

  • awesome!!

  • Great job. You're getting a very nice tone. What gear are you using?

  • Hi, thanks.

I'm playing on a Les Paul Custom 57. The signal is processed by an old Boss GX 700 for distortion, equalizer, reverb and speaker simulator (Marshall stack) as I don't have any amp !

This time, I pushed the reverb up a bit, probably with a Tribute-like live atmosphere in mind.
