tehehe, Arjun has a different kind of beauty and Gurmeet here is also beaufiufl in his own way. I'm addicted to both men :) I think the cakes of makeup on Gurmeet here are confusing you a little bit, hence you can't stop starring. He looks better without it.
@Sikhindu yeah, you´re right, they always exegerate with the makeup, they want to look white and we white want to look dark... but gurmeet is really beautiful, with and without makeup. even my husband says he never saw such a beautiful man. are you also looking whole series again waiting for the missing episodes? i think it´s not fair how they uploaded half and then the end.
I think the extra makeup is for them to look surreal, or whoever was hired to be the makeup artist was just overzealous. Even the little girls have so much makeup it makes them look old. I don't think they were going for the caucasian look this time around. Even the monkeys have lipstick on them, and the way their lips were created makes the lipstick look f unny. I like seeing pores on skin, There's a scene I saw his moustache and beard beginning to grow. I was happy
If I understood Hindi, I could have watched it without subtitles and finished all the 300 epsiodes, but alas I have to wait for NDTV Imagine to upload the rest of them . I wonder if they are still stuck in translating the subtitles, or they are just stalling. I have no idea how economic it is for them to upload the series, I do not see too many ads within each show. Or they have a limit as to how many they can upload, and they would have to sacrifice other shows.
@Sikhindu after watching so much mahabharat and ramayan, a little hindi i understand, so i went to try to watch some episodes without subtitles, more or less the meaning is clear, also coz i know the story, but it´s still too difficult, so i let it be and wait for the rest with subtitles, also rajshri graphics is a disaster, you don t see anything! about the monkeys, they´re really funny. but for the white color i´m rather the opinion that they want the aryans to look white....
My hindi is more limited than yours so all I could do was smile and see that the guy who plays Lord Shiva is actually very attractive, and the sense of humor he has on the show made me laugh a lot (when there were subtitles - otherwise I just looked at his dreamy self).
We'll have to wait for the subtitles, we have no choice, lol. Patience!
By the way, the guy that plays Hanuman here has really nice legs!
@Sikhindu haha are you talking about amit pachori? he was vishnu in Om Namah shivay ( i MUCH prefer him as vishnu.....but it's good to see a familiar face!!!!) he also played lakshman in b.r. chhopras ramayan, he does make this shiva look kinda humorous hahaha
@Sikhindu they want them to look white coz according to the scriptures brahmins was white, kshatriyas are supposed to be reddish, but anyway aryan=white. also i know that indians generally want to look white coz i´m a bharatnatyam dancer and the indian dancers all paint their faces white, what i think is very ugly, they´re so beautiful, dark as they are, but what can we do....
This color thing seems to be a problem in many cultures. We have people bleaching themselves into illnesses just to get a lighter skin because it is considered better, or people trying to get half caste babies so they may have a better chance, what with having less dark skin. What can we do though, it's the world we live in.
Gurmeet is handsome, tehehe. I think most people on the planet would agree with your husband, he's stunning. I think for me it's the eyes, and other people here on YouTube have talked about his humility. I think it makes him more humble, handsome but humble. I like that in a man.
