The table ppooler is using in this video has a very thin slate (may even be wood) and the felt is very slick. That is the reason that the spin stays on the ball longer. The fact that Eric did these tricks with a thicker cloth makes it even more impressive.

Eric yow is by far the best. At least he uses a proper table! His tricks are also a lot better.

Yeah, good point about the table. ppooler's tables has pockets big enough to fit 3 balls in it side by side. And somebody said he gets more action on the cue ball than Yow. I don't know what planet he's from, but watching some of Eric's videos, there's now way ppooler gets more action.

Both points very true, but ppooler has moved on to a much bigger table, and the pockets are standard size..

Yeah, I've seen them. I ain't knocking his tricks. Funny thing is trick guys often can't even run a rack of 9 ball. I live in Topeka KS. A friend of mine lives in Kansas City and Paul Gerni lives up there. Paul Gerni is the best trick shot artist of all time. And my friend says he plays him from time to time and beats the guy every time. But that's cool too. I can run a rack no problem, but I know without a lot of practice I can't do these tricks. A different game all together.

All of you need to wake up. Eric Yow is World Masse' Champion. Eric is a better artistic trick shot artist. Ppooler has some talent. Have you noticed how enormous the pockets are? They actually protrude into the playing surface. This makes shots much easier. Most of the shots have been around for a long time in the artistic field of pool and are common. Only a few of them are their creations.

lol u all need to shut up.. i mean rather then judging who is better u all should relieze that they both are GREAT and if they wanted to they could do better in comp. not to mention the fact that im willin to bet that one is better then the other in some catagories, such as personally from watchin the videos i think ppooler takes the lead in jumpin the ball and the curve but eric takes the lead in creativity, style, and use of materials

This is sad, Ppooler wins obviously, you just imitated his shots and obviously took MANY attempts to make them. Ppooler also made the shots better than you did on a couple of them, and on a couple of them you replaced the rack on the masse through the ball and the cue, you made it easier... Ppooler is a better pool player, and not an imitator... Get your own shots please.

how do you know who did it first? i agree that ppooler did it better, but in this vid, since Eric wasn't really competing, and it was just two videos being compared, i think Eric Yow would win if it was a real competition instead of just fooling around.

I Highly doubt that, Maybe you should get some skill before you judge? I'm ranked 4th in Canada for youth 9 ball... (18 and under) and in the western canadians I placed 5th in the mens division, Just by the way either of them play I can tell Ppooler is better. Not just because you like one person more, how about you actually watch the video?

I agree with chalkmaster1690 all the way. Yow! all the way, every video I've seen of ppooler he has a dinky little table (not taking anything away from ppooler his shots still require an amazing stroke) but Yow! is still doing it on a real table and not one of the Meijer jobs that also doubles as an air hockey table. Also I've seen just about every video Yow has posted as well as ppooler and I think this video was a little bias considering none of Yows really difficult shots were in this one.

I think so, I am today such skill ,as was Yow in this Video.(It means two years ago),whereas he's abreast with Semih Sayginer already. (Semih Sayginer is best of the best on the billiards)
