I love when people don't do any research for themselves and just listen to what ever CNN tells them. I love how any anti ronpaul youtube video has a vast majority of dislikes, but any other actual ron paul video has a 10:1 ration of likes to dislike... so what does it mean? it means do a little research there is this new thing called google where you can read and learn stuff and not just absorb everything that people with money (media) want you to hear.
What snes era game was that playing behind the pothead? Also, smart arguments from less than impressive speakers are still smart, they just sound ridiculous.
You had to get actors to do this. It would have been better to get the real thing, real Ron Paul supporters...oh wait; they wouldn't be saying what you've decided they should say about Dr. Paul.
@MsAuntMary congrats on being a single-issue idiot. Sure, I'm in favor of legalizing pot. But not if it means throwing the rest of the country in the shitter to do so.

@CameronGTW Apparently you didn't check out this guy's twitter account.
Another problem: these views are not the talking points for the vast majority of "paulbots", as you bigoted people like to call them. The main issues are the endless wars and the economy destroyed by inflation, derivatives, and reckless spending. There's also the fact that he's the only person running that isn't part of the establishment and has been repeatedly censored by the media.
@PoweredByMagnets The bit about the media - that's an outright lie. Ever heard of Gary Johnson? Damn near blackballed; several of the Republican debates changed their qualifications for the express purpose of excluding him. If you're complaining about Paul's lack of coverage, you had best be downright apologetic toward Johnson (who actually has executive experience).
@CameronGTW I probably would have picked Gary Johnson over Ron Paul. Kucinich or Gravel too, in 2008, or nearly any of the independents. Frankly, I've vote for anyone that isn't working for lobbyists.
The biggest problem I have with paulHATERbots like yourself, is they never do anything constructive. This is clear from the fact that you did not acknowledge anything I said, except to flame me over a technicality. Look in a mirror before you cry about lying and butthurt.

OMG what's even more hilarious than this video is all the Paultards & Paulbots getting all hysterical & "offended" making comments on here completely validating this video! Duh Lmao!
WOW. I like this video a lot, I've probably heard all of these 'arguments' for Ron Paul before. It seems like everyone in the comments is pro-Paul. Well if you don't mind yet another political dynasty and are homophobic, sexist, and/or hate any regulatory action whatsoever, then I understand. Personally, I would rather, live in a country where the environment is respected enough to consider cleaner energy sources than coal and oil, and keep my freedom of choice in reproductive health care.
@katysuepoo It's cool to support another murderer for the white house.. I mean there is another anti-war candidate right? Oh seems there isn't. Respect for the environment? Guess you've never heard of the tragedy of the commons nor have you realized why companies that are leased land manage it so poorly (hint: It's because government mandates them to do x even though they would normally do y if they owned the land.) Never mind that there has been no real deregulation since 1945-6.
@katysuepoo Btw, the environment would be respected enough if the government stopped funding alternative sources and actually allowed businesses that wanted to get into the field to actually produce results in a reasonable time instead of taking five to ten years in research. Also, never mind the fact that the ideas that Ron Paul espouses aren't homophobic or sexist at all. Just letting you know, regulations have increased over the past 70 years without any real decrease.
@D34thSetX yeah, all that reasoning takes brain power though, alot of people don't bother using it and let the media do their thinking for them, it probably hurts them to actually exercise a brain that's been severely atrophied over time...sad
@katysuepoo yeah, screw the innocent people who get bombed by us because you're afraid of finding a jihadist under your bed, and screw the poor black people who get imprisoned for non-violent drug crimes disproportionately because you're not the one sitting in jail, suppose you enjoy the way the gov't treats the Native Americans, too? Is that the model of gov't you prefer? You are a homophobe, racist, Muslim hater for supporting anyone else. Go breathe your 'clean' air and kill your babies.
some people love to have their savings wittled away by inflation. im fifty and if i had put all my savings in gold and silver instead of useless stocks that are about to crash any minute again, i would be rich today. Ron Paul supporters are irritating because they are informed.
Wow! ...all this hate against ron paul, and everthing ive read sounds exactely the same as whats been repeated on fox, cnn, and cbs news programs. and you all call yourselfs intelligent? at least come up with your own opinions . To me, you all just sound really scared .RON PAUL 2012!
Ron Paul does not advocate drug usage- he just supports the decriminalization of drugs which solves many problems and takes the huge profit from the drug trade. Also it is just false to suggest Ron supports the legalization of prostitution or other illicit activities.
@MsAnon4223 its a bad joke meant to disinform. whats at stake is liberty and freedom. dont sleep it all away dude. wake up and check out why so many are flocking to Paul. shut your stupid tv. its been lying to you ever since you can remember.
I think the fastest way to get 10,000+ views is to post a negative video about Ron Paul. Then all of a sudden all the robots show up and start whining in the comment section! I might have to try this!
@PartyWithJordan Why stop there? Make a few videos in support of a grown man's right to get nasty with little children. After all, views are all that's important, right?
2. So, the government is not to be trusted, so let's have the government get an audit from... the government? Logic much?
3. I'm OK with this.
4. Language is defined by popular use, and RP is in the minority on this one. Welcome to how we Liberals have been feeling for the past 40 years about misuse of THAT label.
5. We want our leader to be bribeable? Not me.
6. Don't really care what testosterone-laden 19-year-olds think, sry.
2. The Federal Reserve is secretive and has large private components
3. Obama signed the Bush Patriot Act extensions & NDAA bill which can indefinitely detain citizens without due process, this is where President Obama lost my vote & proved that he is a sellout.
4. Ron Paul is the ONLY Conservative running on the GOP ticket.
5. Proves all those wrong who say Paul only cares about the "rich" in this country
@North2016 single-issue voters annoy me. yeah, I don't like the NDAA either. Firstly, be aware that the President isn't a dictator (thank god), he operates in a system where he shares power with Congress. They wrote it, he just signed it; why is he getting 100% of the blame? Would he have had the power to hold out the threat of a veto if it weren't rewritten? Could his reelection bid have withstood the label of being willing to let the military go unfunded?
@nfinn42 This is not a single-issue. He has continuously signed re-authorizations of the Bush Patriot Act & on top of that he signed a bill which gives him the power to indefinitely detain American citizens WITHOUT due process.
He had the power to VETO, yet he did not. He had the power to side with the American people, instead he did not. Obama is nothing more than Bush III and this is why he will NOT get my vote.
@North2016 No President who cares about his political capital will bother to veto if it would just be overridden. It's a "statement", sure: it says "I am weak and Congress can push me around." Any White House COS who advised such a veto would deserve to lose his job.
@North2016 No, I'm saying you fight the fights you can WIN. The President can either sign, veto, or pocket veto (which means holding off on signing in an attempt to squeeze out some political gain). A true veto can be overridden by Congress, which politically makes the President look weak. Sure, a principled veto might impress his base, but "swing voters" mostly don't care about ideology and are looking for "strength". Wasting a veto on a hopeless cause is a great way to throw away reelection...
@North2016 ...and if a bill has 2/3 majority support then, yes, opposing it is a hopeless cause. A veto then only serves the purpose of satisfying some small segment of the electorate while no doubt pissing off a majority - political suicide. Which is why you see so few actual override votes in practice. Just the threat of an override is enough to prevent sane Presidents from risking the veto. You sign or you veto, and if the bill has 2/3 majority, you sign and live to fight another day. :P
@North2016 political realities are what they are, and holding your breath and having a big foot-stamping tantrum just because your personal pet issue didn't get any love doesn't help anyone, least of all yourself. You either compromise or you don't get shit. It's why turd sandwiches like Romney and Bush keep getting elected - because prissy idealists are more interested in being *offended* than in being *effective*. You'd rather keep losing so you can go on feeling proud of how pure you are. :P
@North2016 lol. I love it when Paulbots try to pretend there are no substantive policy differences between the Democrats and the Republicans. Let's see... one party wants a millionaires tax, the other one wants to repeal the estate tax.
Do you need more examples, or are we done here? I think we're done here. :P
@nfinn42 There is no difference because they both want to spend beyond the amount of revenue they bring in and neither of them really wants to cut the budget at all. All they are cutting right now is projected spending. Every organization is still going to get more money each year, they just will be getting a 5% increase instead of a 7% increase. You can argue that they are different in the way they tax but that millionaire tax isn't going to cover that 5% increase so it is a pointless tax.
@nfinn42 Yeah and saying tomato (ta-may-toe) and tomato (ta-ma-toe) is different but in the end it is the same thing. Big government is big government. Doesn't matter what they spend money on. Plus you are wrong. They both spend money on the same things. Bush = war, healthcare, and subsidies. Obama = war, healthcare, and subsidies.
@North2016 Except he didn't vote on the NDAA bill at all, he wants to end wars because he's a radical isolationist, and he's only talking about lowering his Presidential salary because it's campaign season. Stop recycling all of the talking points used by EVERY SINGLE Ron Paul supporter and look at who he really is.
@quenwolf He isn't an isolationist. North Korea is an isolationist country. Isolationists don't trade with everyone. He wants the US to be non-interventionist. Completely different. I'm not recycling talking points either. If other RP supporters are saying the same thing, then it is probably because they have read his books and understand his position.
i'd recommend looking up the definition of 'liberty' in a dictionary.
just because 'liberal' has 'liber' in the word, doesn't mean it stands for freedom, justice, etc.
everybody wants a nanny-state where the government babies them and treats them like a child. willing to dictate to them what's 'right' and 'wrong,' just as long as they get an 'allowance' every 2 weeks/month from them.
the instant a ron paul supporter sees any criticism they flip out and get all heated. relax people... not all of us are privileged white people who have nothing to lose with a libertarian like ron paul.
@MarcoWeirdOh Wow you world view is so complex and enlightened. Suddenly I realize your right. Freedom is only good for rich white people. I should just vote for someone whose gonna take care of me like I'm a fuckin child who needs my mommy to make sure I don't spend all my money. Seriously if you think the function of govt is to ensure economic equality then go to one of the many countries that share that belief. Leave this one alone. Freedom> Everyone shares each others money
Classic representation of how the world thinks their smart when their actually populist drones. That why Ron Paul will never be elected. PEOPLE are stupid. The maker of this video is a perfect example.
Ron Paul has received more donations from the military than every other Presidential candidate (including President Obama) COMBINED. So I guess the person who made this video must not think very highly of what our troops who are fighting overseas think. Ron Paul is the clear choice for President in the eyes of our military.
@MaoistRebelNews2 well Obama would be one of the culprits there =\.. has it ever occurred to you that maybe some people want to serve their country and may NOT want to fight for an unjust cause? if serving our country is blindly killing it is not the soldiers we need to look at it is their leaders. Do you know how many soldiers come back with post traumatic stress disorder? Many.. THEY ARE NOT MINDLESSLY KILLING to think they are is just as blind and stupid..
Dr. Paul wants to return power to the states where it belongs. Abortion/Marijuana shouldn't be decided at federal level government. They should be determined by the states. He doesn't support prosecution of victimless crimes, if it doesn't hurt anyone then who cares? A gold standard because having a finite resource backing the currency is a check against inflation. He's the only candidate that proposes real solutions to balance the budget and pay off our national debt. He's our only hope.
There are almost 900,000 abortions a year, and just over 800,000 drug users get arrested per year. Ron Paul would oppress so many more people! I mean, it's not like the fact that 60% of people who spend time in jail for drug crimes are black has had any effect on the black community. I'm sure if we just enforced the laws equally on all races, and 1 in 3 members of all races spent time in jail for nonviolent, victimless crimes, we'd all be better off.
People seem to think that because Ron wants to remove welfare that he's not for the people. This is wrong. America is essentially a very rich country where all the money is concentrated at the top. In Ron's system, rich people would not be able to abuse the system, and eventually the wealth would re-distribute more evenly. At that point, there would be no need for welfare. It is not a perfect system but much better than anything anybody else is offering. Do some reading and figure it out...
I pity whoever made this video. U just don't realize that Ron Paul is the only candidate there actually fighting for the American people and is a true American hero. There are only two idealogical parties right now: Ron Paul for the people and everybody else (Obama, Romney etc) for the Plutocracy. wake up.
@lovesmasher In his system he does not discriminate and since the rich white people have such a huge head start, it will take a very long time for minorities to catch up (but they would eventually since they are more productive). So I don't think he is perfect. However, there are two alternatives: vote for another republican or Obama which is essentially the same thing and only perpetuates the plutocracy, or vote independent (ideologically good candidates) which has no chance of winning, ever.
I'm RACIST for criticizing Obama. TERRORIST because I'm not with Bush. ANTISEMITIC for not supporting Rothechild Zionism. TEABAGGER for supporting the Constitution. TRUTH-ER for asking unanswered questions. TRAITOR for whistle-blowing on my corrupt Government. CONSPIRACY THEORIST for presenting documented facts. TROLL for uploading news, videos, quotes and U.S.Atrocities. ANTI-AMERICAN for supporting Constitutionalists like Dr. Ron Paul. RON PAUL 2012!
This is just ignorance. LOL. Gold standard is necessary so we don't turn into a plutocratic oligarchy and perpetuate the military industrial complex, sending us into a complete downward spiral of debt and slavery. Fucking A | Tired of just IDIOTS out there. JUMP OFF A CLIFF, or DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH AND FIND OUT WHAT'S REAL!!!! THUMBS UP.
@WilhelmDrake It should be regulated because of devaluation. There's plenty of gold, and perhaps we could use silver, or some other limited resource that is tangible. We've had this economic principle before 1913, and it has worked very well. Ironically, Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act, in the same year of the initial legislation of income tax :P. This is simply balancing a monetary system, without it being based on debt. Right now it's dividing and it will collapse.
@cbankord Gold was used by plenty of plutocratic oligarchies.. Gold was used by plenty of military run countries.. You should probably stick to yelling insults like a 10 year old.
@smokydave The greenback was much more efficient than fiat currency, which is privately run. We print our money, and it exponentially increases our money supply irrespective to goods and services, due to fractional reserve banking.
you guys should get your facts straight, open up your mind and your eyes, and listen to Ron Paul. Oh yeah and sarcasm is sad. figure your shit out, get over yourselves and grow up. there's no time for this garbage. do something better with your lives.
Great vid. So, so true. Though one correction to be fair. Ron Paul did actually oppose a physical wall to keep out the immigrants...but only because he claims that would be ineffective. The real reason I suspect is he doesn't want to pay the taxes necessary to build it and hoarding his gold is one of the few things he values more than keeping the brown people out.
@mjr256 Nope, crazier than that. Its to keep Americans from fleeing after the Great Collapse:
"In economic turmoil, the people want to leave with their capital and there’s capital controls and there’s people controls. Every time you think about the fence, think about the fences being used against us, keeping us in.”

Ron Paul does not advocate drug usage- he just supports the decriminalization of drugs which solves many problems and takes the huge profit from the drug trade. Also it is just false to suggest Ron supports the legalization of prostitution or other illicit activities.

Shit REAL Ron Paul supporters say:
Ron Paul wants to End the WARS & bring the troops home.
Ron Paul wants to Audit the Fed
Ron Paul wants to restore our Civil Liberties (repeal NDAA bill & Patriot Act)
Ron Paul is the only TRUE conservative
Ron Paul if President will lower his Presidential salary from 400k to 39k like the average American.
And most important: Ron Paul receives more contributions from active military personnel than all other candidates combined!
North2016 4 weeks ago 56
@North2016 huh. Let's see.
1. Troops already home. Your point?
Not me.
6. Don't really care what testosterone-laden 19-year-olds think, sry.
nfinn42 3 weeks ago
@nfinn42
1. False, troops are still in Afghanistan
6. Troops have knowledge
North2016 3 weeks ago
@North2016 single-issue voters annoy me. yeah, I don't like the NDAA either. Firstly, be aware that the President isn't a dictator (thank god), he operates in a system where he shares power with Congress. They wrote it, he just signed it; why is he getting 100% of the blame? Would he have had the power to hold out the threat of a veto if it weren't rewritten? Could his reelection bid have withstood the label of being willing to let the military go unfunded?
I am sick of you naive idealists.
nfinn42 3 weeks ago
@nfinn42 This is not a single-issue. He has continuously signed re-authorizations of the Bush Patriot Act & on top of that he signed a bill which gives him the power to indefinitely detain American citizens WITHOUT due process.
He had the power to VETO, yet he did not. He had the power to side with the American people, instead he did not. Obama is nothing more than Bush III and this is why he will NOT get my vote.
North2016 3 weeks ago
@North2016 No President who cares about his political capital will bother to veto if it would just be overridden. It's a "statement", sure: it says "I am weak and Congress can push me around." Any White House COS who advised such a veto would deserve to lose his job.
nfinn42 2 weeks ago
@nfinn42 So Congress passes an Anti-Abortion bill, so according to your logic, Obama should sign it because of his "political capital"... LOL.
North2016 2 weeks ago
@North2016 No, I'm saying you fight the fights you can WIN. The President can either sign, veto, or pocket veto (which means holding off on signing in an attempt to squeeze out some political gain). A true veto can be overridden by Congress, which politically makes the President look weak. Sure, a principled veto might impress his base, but "swing voters" mostly don't care about ideology and are looking for "strength". Wasting a veto on a hopeless cause is a great way to throw away reelection...
nfinn42 2 weeks ago
@North2016 ...and if a bill has 2/3 majority support then, yes, opposing it is a hopeless cause. A veto then only serves the purpose of satisfying some small segment of the electorate while no doubt pissing off a majority - political suicide. Which is why you see so few actual override votes in practice. Just the threat of an override is enough to prevent sane Presidents from risking the veto. You sign or you veto, and if the bill has 2/3 majority, you sign and live to fight another day. :P
nfinn42 2 weeks ago
@North2016 political realities are what they are, and holding your breath and having a big foot-stamping tantrum just because your personal pet issue didn't get any love doesn't help anyone, least of all yourself. You either compromise or you don't get shit. It's why turd sandwiches like Romney and Bush keep getting elected - because prissy idealists are more interested in being *offended* than in being *effective*. You'd rather keep losing so you can go on feeling proud of how pure you are. :P
nfinn42 3 weeks ago
@nfinn42 If you think Obama is somehow different than Romney & Bush then you are pretty fuckin' naive bud...
North2016 3 weeks ago
@North2016 lol. I love it when Paulbots try to pretend there are no substantive policy differences between the Democrats and the Republicans. Let's see... one party wants a millionaires tax, the other one wants to repeal the estate tax.
Do you need more examples, or are we done here? I think we're done here. :P
nfinn42 2 weeks ago
@nfinn42 There is no difference because they both want to spend beyond the amount of revenue they bring in and neither of them really wants to cut the budget at all. All they are cutting right now is projected spending. Every organization is still going to get more money each year, they just will be getting a 5% increase instead of a 7% increase. You can argue that they are different in the way they tax but that millionaire tax isn't going to cover that 5% increase so it is a pointless tax.
Brett9897 2 weeks ago
@Brett9897 Yeah. BUT THEY WANT TO SPEND IT ON DIFFERENT THINGS.
Which is kind of... I dunno... A DIFFERENCE.
geez... some people! :P
nfinn42 1 week ago
@nfinn42 Yeah and saying tomato (ta-may-toe) and tomato (ta-ma-toe) is different but in the end it is the same thing. Big government is big government. Doesn't matter what they spend money on. Plus you are wrong. They both spend money on the same things. Bush = war, healthcare, and subsidies. Obama = war, healthcare, and subsidies.
Geez...some people! :P
Brett9897 1 week ago
@North2016 Except he didn't vote on the NDAA bill at all, he wants to end wars because he's a radical isolationist, and he's only talking about lowering his Presidential salary because it's campaign season. Stop recycling all of the talking points used by EVERY SINGLE Ron Paul supporter and look at who he really is.
quenwolf 2 weeks ago

Sarcastic responses to Ron Paul's positions:
- Because letting states print their own currency worked out so well during the Articles of Confederation period.
- Because the UN - in which we have veto power - is a serious threat to our sovereignty.
- Because adding $400 million in earmarks (2007 alone) certainly reduces government spending.
- Because the sixteenth amendment to the constitution is unconstitutional.
- Because evolution is just a theory and the overwhelming evidence is... shut up.

@CameronGTW
To continue:
- Because those who get sexually harassed should just quit their job, and in this economy they can easily find a new one.
- Because the Civil Rights Act was a bad idea.
- Because the mission to kill Osama bin Laden violated Pakistan's sovereignty, and they would have arrested him probably.
- Because the if the free market is allowed to handle everything, all our pollution problems will solve themselves.
- Because the Necessary and Proper Clause isn't necessary or proper

He's our only hope.
ezsoftwareinc 1 month ago 8

Do some reading and figure it out...
doaaron82 1 month ago 5
I pity whoever made this video. U just don't realize that Ron Paul is the only candidate there actually fighting for the American people and is a true American hero. There are only two idealogical parties right now: Ron Paul for the people and everybody else (Obama, Romney etc) for the Plutocracy. wake up.
doaaron82 1 month ago
@doaaron82 Fighting for the white, christian, rich American male people, you mean.
lovesmasher 1 month ago
@lovesmasher In his system he does not discriminate and since the rich white people have such a huge head start, it will take a very long time for minorities to catch up (but they would eventually since they are more productive). So I don't think he is perfect. However, there are two alternatives: vote for another republican or Obama which is essentially the same thing and only perpetuates the plutocracy, or vote independent (ideologically good candidates) which has no chance of winning, ever.

cbankord 1 month ago 67
@cbankord
If you want to give power to those who control gold, then a gold standard is a great idea.
Why should the money supply (90+% of which is private credit) be limited by the random amount of gold in the earths crust?
WilhelmDrake 1 month ago
@WilhelmDrake It should be regulated because of devaluation. There's plenty of gold, and perhaps we could use silver, or some other limited resource that is tangible. We've had this economic principle before 1913, and it has worked very well. Ironically, Wilson signed the Federal Reserve Act, in the same year of the initial legislation of income tax :P. This is simply balancing a monetary system, without it being based on debt. Right now it's dividing and it will collapse.
cbankord 1 month ago
@cbankord
"We've had this economic principle before 1913, and it has worked very well."
They did not work well.
In fact there were intensifying crisis every 10 years or so.
It was only the New Deal re-regulation that gave us the "Golden Age" of Capitalism.
Since the time after the New Deal Reforms until deregulation began again in earnest, there were 50+ years without a banking crisis.

Great vid. So, so true. Though one correction to be fair. Ron Paul did actually oppose a physical wall to keep out the immigrants...but only because he claims that would be ineffective. The real reason I suspect is he doesn't want to pay the taxes necessary to build it and hoarding his gold is one of the few things he values more than keeping the brown people out.
mjr256 1 month ago
@mjr256 Nope, crazier than that. Its to keep Americans from fleeing after the Great Collapse:
