@CheckervonNekka I think that was explained while rufus talked with scarlet. but its long ago, since i saw that. Shinra want to have power, ang energy. so they pull it out of the other worlds. and wasn't there something about "the promised land"? The crystals might be the way to open the doors to it, and it is said, that this is a really great land, with lots of energy and other things. or at least they think so. if you know FF 7&9 games, than you find paralles to the story of the games.

Well, it´s an epic and wide, complex story, maybe sometimes a bit too complex... just like JRPGs!

Disc 2 strayed a bit with some side stories, Disc 3 will continue the search for the crystals. It ALL makes sense. But if any of you guys have questions, feel free to ask.
