Wow, this is great to see. John definitely doesn't want to be there but he's a good sport.I used to have that haunted house pop-up book asa kid, seeing that just back great memories!!
It's from a programme called "Durch die Nacht mit..." (through the night with) made by (or rather for) German/French channel Arte. It's usually about an hour long.
holy shit! so these 2 are actually in a program! they wore the exact same outfits in a program where they visited film composer Hans Zimmer's studio! Carpenter's one of my fave directors; franka my favorite sweet actress, and Zimmer, the guy who's music i'm not afraid to admit I grew up on. A total treat!
I love this video. I hand it to Franka for putting up with us (video junkies). She is a good sport. She has a common touch. I am a real fan. Does any one have the whole episode?
I think it is from a show on the german/french channel arte. it was called durch die nacht (through the night). they always paired up two celebrities and followed them with a camera for one night.
i think i saw the whole episode on tv a couple of years ago. it was pretty entertaining. too bad theres only such a short clip online :(

Poor John Carpenter... Potente, desperately trying to keep up the good mood, gets it right: it seems like he really WANTS to run away...

"Had a great time with Franka on German TV. We met Hans Zimmer." -a John Carpenter tweet

Das wäre was.

You can upload videos up to 100MB or 10 minutes video, I missed the scene Franka and John at the cemetary and waiting for food.

Could you upload more? This is really strange, Franka Potente and John Carpenter shopping, where are they? In Germany? Thanks for posting this!

Two of the coolest people on earth, who put them together? Kudos to whoever it was.
Now what I need to see is Lindsay Lohan and Satoshi Kon wandering through Tokyo.
