  • I remember getting so sick of seeing this commercial it was on every fucking commercial break ha

  • Nickelodeon hooks were so creative back in the day. Now they're just flashy. But hey, guise, aren't you excited for Super Adventure Island???

  • watch?v=xKNuBoymppk

  • OMG! I remember having a few Zoobooks when I was about 8. As far as I know of, they don't really sell those anymore! It's so sad a lot of this merchandise you can barely find anymore. ;(

  • Ah, the early 90's, the confusing age of neon colors and saxophone galore. Yeesh.

  • That's the show. Eureekas Castle. Nobody remembers that but I do. I knew it was real and not a dream lol

  • Chicago commercials!! I remember that Great America commercial! I stood up to Iron wolf!

  • @chocolateaka5502 Iron Wolf: the ride where you sit on your testicles.

  • animals they've never seen before.. like dolphins!

  • What was the name of the nick jr thing with the lunch box?

  • $14.95 sounds like an awful lot of money considerin' it's just Zoobooks.

  • What was that show at the very last second?!?! The one with the giant foot coming down?

  • @ISeenACar87

    it was Eureeka;s Castle.

  • @whoseverheardof Thank you :)

  • Something tells me that the Viacom logo at the beginning was taken from an episode of the Adventures of the Little Koala. That was the only show on Nick Jr. to have The V of Steel.

  • Does anyone remember this intro to Nick Jr, it was long before face. The camera was positioned to be you (the child watching) as it moved along into a hot air ballon with other kids, and when the ballon fired up the kids waved to the man at the ground and they had a picnic inside the ballon while going into the diffrent shows..Anyone else remember this or anything close too it?

  • WOW

  • they speak the truth, I did love zoobooks. omg, I was a nerd before I even hit first grade lol.

  • hay i go to that six flags

  • 0:11 If you know where Bud is, go get Bud! Man, using your dolphin to get weed. That's awful! j/k!

  • @spindalis79 That made me laugh. Prolly cause im high =p

  • 0:04 fuck you viacom

  • That Zoobooks thing used to be on nick all the frikken time.

  • I used to have the "stunning" tiger poster in my room as a kid. I can't believe how much of that Zoobooks commercial I remember.

  • These kids are all grown up now, as well as ourselves. Wow... where did the time go? It feels like yesterday I was eating dunkaroos on the couch watching SWAT Kats.

  • Hey, someone call 800-82 HUDSON, and let me know what happens.

  • HOLY CRAP! SUPER ADVENTURE ISLAND!!!!!! Is it just me, or was that game really difficult?

  • @musicAL722 It was.

  • -How different the Kool-Aid man looked!

  • My grandma SO bought me like ten years subscriptions for Zoo Books when I was little. Awesome.

  • I beat Adventure Island

  • @ledzep76 man i was playin that game last night i can't beat the last boss.

  • OHHHHH Eureka's Castle!!@ ZOOBOOKS!!! YEAH!!

  • I was 11

  • my childhood!

  • ZOOBOOKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1:58

  • Super Adventure Island was a great game with a GREAT Soundtrack! Truly it is one of Hudson Soft's best games out there! :D

  • I remember being very excited to get Super Adventure Island as a kid, and then after playing it for about 5 minutes going back to mario and Zelda because it sucked so bad. lol

  • Well, most of Hudson's games were tough. I remember I played Inspector Gadget for the SNES, and I could'nt understand the controls, or what to do!

  • @MysticArksRevenge Yeah, you can check out one of Hudson Soft's most notoriously difficult games from The Angry Video Game Nerd. The game is Milon's Secret Castle.

  • @spindalis79 Do not mention the AVGN to me ever again. I hate him so much. All he does is bash on games made by small Japanese companies and practically wants everyone to like and honor the FAMOUS games and their companies. Sorry, but in my eyes, the AVGN is the spawn of Satan.

  • OMG dude, Zoobooks!!!

It seemed like we had 100 of those things, I don't think they got cracked-open ever.

I totally forgot about those things.

  • Haha I remember that Zoobooks commercial... gts :-P

  • I literally remember this programming like it was aired a few years ago. Does anyone remember those weird claymation shorts they used to have? I think one of them involved some sort of weevil eating rice, and another had something to do with a pig farmer.

  • Can you upload the Eureeka's Castle episode shown at the end?

  • this is the time when the dang SIX FLAGS guy was around 70...

  • Aren't they still selling zoo books? If I'm not mistaken they have been using the same commercial for a LONG time...

  • I had a flipper lunchbox...ahahaha

  • god i hate zoobooks they actually thinks kids will read them

  • My grandparents keep getting them for me. I just use 'em to line my cat's litterbox. Zoobooks suck.

  • 2:10

  • That Kool-Aid ad was trippy.

  • Jeez, those Zoobooks commercials have been around for forever.

  • Yeah, the longest running infomercial product EVER!

This product needs to be vanished. I'm getting tired of it now when I usually watch Cartoon Network a lot!! :P

  • 2day is my brithday. I want Zoo Books. and the Old Nick Jr.

  • I want a zooo boook!!! Aw mannnn I want one sooo badddd lol

  • I don't know how old you are, but I think they were made more for kids.

  • lol are you being serious? It was a joke... lol = laugh out loud = joke....

  • Who animated the bumper at 3:27?

  • Theses commerical aired around the time I was born.

  • i remember getting zoo books until my subscription ran out and my last issue was a super close up view of a spider and i was like no thanks for any more. i miss them.

  • the first 2 dont seem like theyd be on a break for nick jr.

  • I remember I made my mom buy me a shit load of kool-aid just so I could get that damn toy car, and when I finally did I played with it for like 10 seconds and lost interest lol.

  • zoobook haven't changed

  • anyone in america know where i can find eurika's castle on dvd? or vhs

  • god I miss these days... :* thanks for the post

  • I had a subscription to Zoobooks for a while. The commercial probably brainwashed me into wanting them, haha!

  • why did Nickelodeon changed?

    Viacom does suck./

  • commercials were better back then. nowaday there just bloodthirsty weasels. dam angry b3av3rs

  • Why a Viacom logo at the beggining?

  • @ SpongLena:

I've wondered the same thing. I do believe the tape had an episode of Little Koala on it. The V of Steel always appeared at the end of it.

  • Viacom owns Nickelodeon .

  • Six flags great America? I guess it's a local thing. Our commercials were for six flags great adventure.

  • this is great AilurophilicArtist! Now if someone could just put up some of these great shows!

  • ok.......so i dont remember any of these promos or commercials..

low and behold i remember good ole eureka castle :DDDDDDD

  • God that made me feel like I was 8 years old again. Thank you.

  • That Zoobook commercial was running on late night TV 10 years later in 2002!

  • I still see Zoobook commercials every once in a awhile

  • I saw them 2day on nickelodoen. Butthe Comemricla is different.

  • i never knew they did that coming up thing for nick jr.

  • Nick should've aired a short series Beethoven.

  • Wow, I Never Went To Six Flags Either.

  • I miss Continental Cablevision... nowadays, I'm stuck with Time Warner...

  • lol at the "super adventure island" thing commercial.

    never heard of it !

    lol

  • OMG I LOVE YOU! I thought that "cooooo-ming up!" bumper was a figment of my imagination. Thank you for proving my sanity! And wow, that zoobooks commercial ran for YEARS.

  • Wow.

  • Lol at the Kool-Aid commercial. I remember when we thought the 1 in. toy car and the cheap doll dresses were actually cool because the kids were having so much fun with them in the commercials, we begged our moms to buy us Kool-Aid.

  • Ha I remember the zoobooks commercial, how annoying that was.

  • Zoobooks were great! They still make them, only now they just show the same infomercial all the time.

    Six Flags is also fun!

  • OMG Zoobooks...were there any kids in the early 90s that did NOT talk their parents into buying these?

  • I know, I had forgotten about those until now. I think I got a subscription as a kid.

  • I always wanted one of those Zoobooks, though I never gotten them. XD
