My first manga...and still, it makes me cry every time I watch or read it. Fruits Basket is one of those things that helped me to grow up to be a stronger and better person. It helped me to see that not all things in this world are bad. That there is still a place where I can call home.Not a place, but LOVE itself provides a sense of home for me. Yuki said it best when he said that home is a "warm place, surrounded by friends. But, I know now. That place wasn't a fantasy. That place, exists."
I believe this is one of the best Shojo mangas of all time. The story and characters are amazing and left me breathless when I finished the series. I feel so emotional listening to this; it brings back alot of memories. I wish they continued the anime though for the 2nd part. >_<

Every time i listen to it, it gives the image of some one i miss walking away down a country road in fall with orange leaves on the ground blowing in the wind as it slowly begins to sprinkle rain. and i'm sitting back watching them go knowing that i'll never see them again. Kind of like a 'it's for the best goodbye'. perfect example-- the feeling you get after you finish watching a really good anime. you know its over but you still want to see more and it's sad. T_T
