@SoulSurvivorX2 Harley's are legends because of their style and sound, but Victory motorcycles look even better, perform even better, and are better. The big problem with the Harley company is that they allowed bikes to leave the factory with pretty ordinary motors. For years they neglected the improvement of their engines and allowed Victory to suddenly appear on the scene with a better looking and better performing bike OUT OF THE FACTORY. The Japanese bikes surpassed H's long back. Bad comp.

I'm sorta thinkin that the "is it 100% made in the USA" argument for purchasing ANYTHING, is a moot point, especially if you're of the mind to buy a Toyota Tacoma, or Camry or (fill in the blank), while thinking you're getting a Japanese car. Sorry, made in Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky...etc. EVERYBODY outsources,...everybody including the Chinese. Like plemdog said,....don't hate,...just go to YOUR happy place,...there's room for everyone. Harleys are different. Harley Davidson means exquisite build quality, beautiful workmanship, inspired design (and the courage to leave a great design ALONE once it's perfect).

Harley means a rolling work of art this is built by people in America, who live here and really care about the quality of their product.

For what it's worth. Don't buy a CVO just for the SE110ci. These engine are way over rated. Screamin' Eagle is all about you paying more not you getting more. all about adding to price, cc's don't equal power in this case. Yeah it will outrun a stock 98ci, but a bone stock with a well built 103ci with good pistons,jugs, and cams will leave it in the dust. If you want to buy it for $30K for the shiny stuff we all love and then still put about another $3500 in the motor. Well....lol my 2 cents.

Yea they're expensive, but so is taking a Kawasaki and modifying it to some extreme bike nite standard so you can ride up and down the block on one wheel and break your neck. And in th end you're still left with a friggen Kawasaki 3 years later won't be worth the plastic it was built with.

What a lot of people don't realize, is that a CVO bike is cheaper the buying the base bike a building it up to the CVO level.

So if you are in the market for a custom tourer, that's the route to go.
