If you truly belive in that then you have been playing diferent game than me! Dante can finish most of the bosses in less than a 30 sec. Look for videos, you will find them with ease. Dante>>>Nero dmg

there was also no trish to be seen. the only cool part is that you get her as a playable character if you beat hard mode, and it's relatively easy to beat dante must die mode...compared to the others, anyway. i found lucia (the "heroine") to be pretty annoying, and it has the weirdest ending. capcom regrets making this game, so they have it listed as #4 in the order of the games (dmc3, dmc1, dmc4, anime, dmc2)

Nice touch at the end, heh. Very well put together video too, the comment about the games going downhill is true, but they aren't bad by any means, just... repetitive, the boss battles are still pretty fun, and the random Dante commentaries.
Not the series of games but the story lines play out as Dmc 3, then dmc origanal, then dmc 4, then dmc 2, thats just how the storyline is if any one didnt know...
Devil May Cry 4 was exceedingly mediocre. The series as a whole is wearing thin, in my opinion. (Notice, the expert use of "in my opinion", placed to avoid the rage of fanboys, am I fucking clever, or what?) I think something drastic needs to be done or these games just won't be fun anymore, TO ME.

like half way through the game he gets like this angelic demon power thingy and it like glows blueish when something important is near. Rather than that i'm pretty sure it stays red and blue. This video shows it as yellowish some though idk whats up with that.
that statue is sparda, i think...only 'cause a) the organization nero belongs to, or at least the other people in there, actually worships sparda, so it would make sense that that's a statue of him.
plus, at the beginning of dmc1, when it states the background (sparda defeats mundus, etc.), you can see the outline of him, and that's the same shape as the head in the statue.
They probably never figured that DMC would be so big, so they may have never thought about making 3 other games. Even if they did, people there were probably going to only make sequels; not prequels.

Yah basically. But if 2 is the first DMC game you've ever played it's not -as- bad as people make it out to be. If only for the fact that you have nothing to compare it to...at least that's what happened to me. (it's still bad though even for an average action game)

I only know that alot of people bitched and moaned about the difficulty level of 1 so the guys in charge of creating 2 decided to tone down the difficulty, thus essentially making it too easy and boring. No clue as to why Dante's a mute in the game though.

emmm no ur wrong the order is dmc3 dmc1 dmc4 dmc2. DMC 3 he kills vergil. DMC 1 he returns as Nelo Angelo. DMC 4 Mundus appearently returns in the final trailer, and somewhere vergil is build into the story. and then dmc 2 which has nothing to do with the original story.
Did you not see the secret ending of DMC3? Dante defiantly does not kill Vergil. And with the info that's out so far it's obvious that that huge statue thing at the end of the trailer is NOT Mundus. To me it looks more like that statue of Sparda you see in the Order's temple.

In DMC 1 Mundus was dissguised like a statue too remember? His real appearence was in the final fight in that basement like place where his statue parts were blown away, and somekinda brown skin and alot of those horns snails have were on it. So he might have taken control over this statue now. Thats what i think atleast.
Not really. Dante kicked Mundus' ass back in DMC1. It took Mundus like 2000 years later or so to actually fully recovered from his battle with Sparda.
People the reason behind of why nero looks like dante and vergil is because nero is their triplet yeah he might look young but the sparda blood has demonic power wich slows down their aging proces and trust me the demon possesing neros hand will disapear and fuse with his body giving him a devil trigger and if you look at the image where nero has this being behind him is that thats what he'll become he accses it while fighting dante

Nope. Dante has much better combos and endurance. Lucifer, gilgamesh etc own \m/
Nero's attacks are powerfull but he has lesser combos and stuff. I have finished bosses in 2 mins or under but the same took around 4 mins with Nero.

DMC2,and the last time we ever see Dante is when he rides into Hell on his motorcycle.
so how can u say DMC2 never happend..when it was the end of everything.btw OHUProductions id like to see the "OFFICIAL SITE" that you saw...because i believe its a Fake!!!!!!

its not a part of the story atleast not for me and not for other fans dmc 2 was made by a different development team and they screwed up on it if u dont believe me than compare the 3 games to the Dmc2 game

then you dont know much because at the end of the credits in DMC 2 it shows dante returning from hell and the anime series is based what happend between DMC 1 and 2 not 1 and 4 so please dont try to change the story and actully wait through the end game credits for the real ending scene plz im not trying to be rude im just stateing that you might have false info yourself and who knows you might be right or i might be right or maybe were both wrong so plz reply nicely

I think it does when he gets a new power. It goes from blue to red or something like that.

like half way through the game he gets like this angelic demon power thingy and it like glows blueish when something important is near. Rather than that i'm pretty sure it stays red and blue. This video shows it as yellowish some though idk whats up with that.

Those vids with the yellow arm are old. The creators first planned to do his arm yellow but they changed it into blue (thank god xD)

that statue is sparda, i think...only 'cause a) the organization nero belongs to, or at least the other people in there, actually worships sparda, so it would make sense that that's a statue of him.
plus, at the beginning of dmc1, when it states the background (sparda defeats mundus, etc.), you can see the outline of him, and that's the same shape as the head in the statue.

They probably never figured that DMC would be so big, so they may have never thought about making 3 other games. Even if they did, people there were probably going to only make sequels; not prequels.

DMC 4 takes place around 10 years after the original, so it's defiantly not a prequel.

Yah basically. But if 2 is the first DMC game you've ever played it's not -as- bad as people make it out to be. If only for the fact that you have nothing to compare it to...at least that's what happened to me. (it's still bad though even for an average action game)

I only know that alot of people bitched and moaned about the difficulty level of 1 so the guys in charge of creating 2 decided to tone down the difficulty, thus essentially making it too easy and boring. No clue as to why Dante's a mute in the game though.

dmc 3 was actually set b4 the rest of the games because i heard it from the maker of the dmc series and u dont gt devil trigger untill late on in the game unless any1 wondered y u didnt get it straight off from the start then it goes dmc 1 then 2 now 4

no the order is dmc3 dmc1 dmc2 dmc4 because in the first you kill vergil and then his soul goes to mundus en he sets it in nelo angelo en then nelo angelo died ( sort of ) and then dante is looking for vergil en now he found it is in nero

emmm no ur wrong the order is dmc3 dmc1 dmc4 dmc2. DMC 3 he kills vergil. DMC 1 he returns as Nelo Angelo. DMC 4 Mundus appearently returns in the final trailer, and somewhere vergil is build into the story. and then dmc 2 which has nothing to do with the original story.

Did you not see the secret ending of DMC3? Dante defiantly does not kill Vergil. And with the info that's out so far it's obvious that that huge statue thing at the end of the trailer is NOT Mundus. To me it looks more like that statue of Sparda you see in the Order's temple.

Forst of all. Your right that was my mistake.. I ment he defeated Vergil, sorry, shit happens xD And Yeah it does look like that Sparda like statue but still. In DMC 1 Mundus was dissguised like a statue too remember? His real appearence was in the final fight in that basement like place where his statue parts were blown away, and somekinda brown skin and alot of those horns snails have were on it. So he might have taken control over this statue now. Thats what i think atleast.

Not really. Dante kicked Mundus' ass back in DMC1. It took Mundus like 2000 years later or so to actually fully recovered from his battle with Sparda.
...so I don't think it's Mundus.

People the reason behind of why nero looks like dante and vergil is because nero is their triplet yeah he might look young but the sparda blood has demonic power wich slows down their aging proces and trust me the demon possesing neros hand will disapear and fuse with his body giving him a devil trigger and if you look at the image where nero has this being behind him is that thats what he'll become he accses it while fighting dante

How do u know so much about nero being there triplet and turning into a deamon or watever and how is devil may cry 3 and 4 before 1 and 2 because trish is in dmc 4 and dante meets her in dmc 1 remember so it cant be and i dont think nro has anything to do with dante and vergil i think his arm is a curse or something also i have a boss walkthrough for dmc 4 and vergil is in it and u have to fight him 3 times throughout the game :p.

Trust me kid Nero is a Spada son trust me on this one i don't know why but its true the game line goes likr this 3,1,4,2, the resemblance is there the spirit, the arm and the resemblance it all fits he is a sparda son even dante knows he is his brother that why he was teasing him the line is you really think your'e a match fromme then show lwts play though everynow and again a fight does make life more interesting don't you think.
