That private really is an idiot. You never call Sergeant Garcia a "Sir." Unless the Spanish Army runs things differently from the American army. I wouldn't know how they did it back then, but I took ROTC and we had to do pushups for every sergeant we called "Sir" or "Ma'am."
I've always loved secret passages such as the ones on Zorro.Other TV shows which had them were The Green Hornet,Batman,The Munsters,The Barbary Coast,Queen of Swords,Honey West,The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
The only thing i dont get is wy grandfather De La Vega would tell his grandson about the secret passage but not his son....after all,the threat of indians was still around in the late 17's when Alejandro was a boy
@obiwanfx It could be that Abuelo de la Vega either 1.) told Alejandro about the passages and Alejandro forgot, or 2.) Alejandro was too young to know about it, and Abuelo de la Vega decided he'd keep the tunnels from him until he was old enough to know, but by that time the need for Alejandro to know no longer existed, and Abuelo died before he could tell Alejandro anything about them.
You know you have something good on when kids sneak around and stay up late to watch it... Somehow I don't think Hannah Montanah, Wizards, (or whatever else Disney's playin these days) is keeping kids up.
If we are meant to believe that they are speaking spanish, and Garcia is going to read the sign anyway, why not write the sign in spanish? Otherwise, what was the point of him reading it aloud anyway? just show the private is uneducated? Or maybe I'm reading to deep into this.
@ultimateSpagety Two reasons. a) filled a little time in the episode, and added a little to our knowledge of Garcia and the lancers (it's only the second episode, they're building the characters here). And b) for the sake of the very young viewers who hadn't quite mastered all those big words -- of whom there were very many. Gotta remember, "Zorro" started out with big ratings and grew from there.
They have totally disrespected and shunned the great shows and characters that made them great. The Disney Channel used to be unique (as were most channels) and that's why television was so great. Now it's all the same bland soulless stuff, for the most part. There are a few beacons of hope.
Yeah but they to them off in 2001 and I was less then thrilled. But yes this was part of my early child hood and then part of my teen years. I even showed some to my nabers grand son who said he likes it to. But why is episode 2 the only one in black and white? Even episode 1 is in color.
I glad someone does I wish the people who run the TV channels would ask the right people what we would like to see! They would have more people watching their channels if they did so. So thank you Again for the reply.
No problem. This is what I call real television. None of that "you get the best of both worlds" crap. I mean, sure they are funny, but they will never be on the same level as Zorro. :)
@SuperZorrolover Thank you for the Reply! To bad The Networks don't agree! They still 1 year later after I have commented on it. Still Make Those Crap Reality shows. Why won't they get back to Real TV with Real Actors. And My Answer to My own Question is ! That they will have to pay the Real Actors. Instead they put The Average Joe on TV giving them 15 mins of Fame. Yuk! We are Ready for the Old ways Of Real TV shows Like Zorro & other 60s TV show that were fun & You could let you kids watch.
you have just been promotet if you want you can now call you're self seargant garcia instead of coporal XD just joking you don't have to rename you're acount but you do diserve it
My Omi (Grandmother) first got me interested in the show when I was 4 or 5. She had a little dog named Zorro and wanted to show me where she had gotten the name. So late that night she called me to watch the TV when and old black and white Zorro came on, number 8 of season one in fact, Zorro's Ride of Terror. One episode was all it took, I've been a Zorro fan for going on 18 years now. Thank you Corporal Reyes for making this most missed part of my childhood so easily recovered :)
Thank you soooo much for this!! I always loved zorro since i was a child, and i was always wishing to watch again since it's departure from the the disney channel in 2002.
At the moment the video isn't working entirely, but i guess that'll be my computers fault. I absolutely loved zorro when i was a kid and was very suprised when i saw the episodes here.
Zorro's Secret Passage is the episode where Toronado jumps Diablo's Gulch. I love this original black and white version. What a horse! What a guy! Thanks for being Zorro/Diego Guy Williams.
Thanks so much for uploading all of these, but especially for uploading some in b&w. I've only seen the colorized version which is a shame because Zorro was the last true hero of the black and white era.
b&w is better if u ask me
