love this band alot wheatervanes is one of my fav albums but their knew stuff is missing the magic from waethervaens, weathervanes was so creative musicaly and whimsical and imaginative lyricaly and this is good but its cookie cutter indie music

its because they went with green label for enzymes and this. I think its great. The green label music from all the other bands is a little different from their original they do it to satisfiy a bigger audience i think maybe not... so far green label music has produced some Awesome singles
The music definitely sounds a lot heavier, and not so airy. It definitely doesn't have the cute, warm sounds from Weathervanes, but it's still good. They're progressing musically, it's bittersweet. Loved Weathervanes.
@eskaflontae I have to say, from what I've heard, I'm liking Weathervanes. That airy sound just felt so special to them. Not the stuff I can listen to again and again like their Weathervanes.
@bobthecoolguy100 I think everyone's grievance, which mine as well, is that their stuff isn't very FUN to listen to. I mean Weathernaves was the best combination of whimsical quicks and wonderful lyrics. It was just fun to listen to! This stuff, although still good, doesn't have that same flare as Weathernaves did. They're reaching for a real atmospheric sound and I'm not sure I want to jump on board with it.
@Rustyizcool It is not correct to speak for others and add such generalizations, notice you're presenting opinions, yes some may agree with you as others do not, but it is inappropriate for you to speak of another band on this bands page (because you are putting FLW down), there are other places you can speak your mind, this, if you have any intelligence is not one of them. Also, your lack of sentence continuation is itching my nazi grammatical tendencies.
