Seems to me that sex is interesting to every person from say 13 to 100 years old and the kids under 13 don't really use the internet much so my conclusion is a controlled internet where people under 13 use, between 13 and 17 use, and between 18 and 25 and between 26 and 100. It is time that we open our minds to sexuality and open our hearts to hear a real discussion of human sexuality in our society, not just the mechanics of sexual intercourse.
It is debated where this uncomfortableness comes from, I do not necessarily believe that such a situation arises out of the right leaning view of certain branches of Christianity; as much as it is a perversion of Christian by some leaders. I am a liberal Christian who have studied the civil religion of America. I think there are over simplification of a bible which not only tolerates sexuality but has some of the most wonderful passages of any written literature.
In essence she said that Canadians were ok with sex and had some basic knowledge of sex, but Americans were scared of sex and that they were not comfortable with any sex issue being in the forefront of public discourse. The result of this is that Canadians ask questions which are above the basics, whereas Americans are struggling with the basics, and cannot wrap their heads around the basics of human sexuality. I think that the recent developments on your VLog with YouTube demonstrates this.
A few years ago I was at a lecture by Sue Johanson, CM, RN, where she was talking about her choice to stop her Canadian show and focus on the American show. She inatally begun a discussion about the different style of shows, and then made an very interesting remark about the nature of Americans about sex and more especially sex educations.

Kicesie, I think your videos are always done tastefully, yet fun. I find it hard to believe there aren't companies out there willing to advertise on your channel. I'm a school teacher, but on the side I'm a children's performer. I can relate to your frustration about needing to get paid to do what you do. I've always seen the job as being the most important, and the hobby to come second. Perhaps you should get a job first, and then let all of this stuff grow out of that. If this is all meant to be for you, it will come whether you've got a part-time or full-time job. But having no job and no security at all must be a bit stressful.
I hope you can do the videos on finding the g spot and female ejaculation because they sound very interesting, and i dont know why advertisers ask for 'family friendly' videos, I thought they only cared about the views.
I think all of your videos are amazing. You are out there teaching people who aren't getting it otherwise. There is alot of "hush hush" around the topic of sexual education. Part 2. I understand the desire/need for income. And YouTube is the place to be to get the volume of views you need. Perhaps post PG versions (or trailers) on YouTube of videos, with links in the comments section to the full versions? Would that get you the YouTube traffic you need while allowing you to fulfill your desire to perform the sex education function?
Part 2. Figuring out what is and is not family friendly should be a no brainer, right? If you can't determine it for yourself, you can preview your videos with friends or family who have children and ask them.
But the real task is to understand what YouTube thinks is family friendly. I can't figure it out by looking at videos that get and don't get advertisers. They will have to tell you.

Your videos are intentionally not for children, which I suppose makes them not "family friendly," since families typically include children. But there ought to be a category of advertisers that don't depend of family friendliness. There are plenty of non-pornographic adult products that I'm sure would like to advertise on YouTube (and some probably already do).
I must admit though that you have an incredible amount of views. It's amazing how many views some of your videos have. You must have some magical ability or something. So if you don't mind sharing, how much do you make for your youtube vids?

I would definitely follow you wherever you decide to go. i love your videos. I don't see how your vids aren't family friendly. If parents don't want their kids to watch your videos, then they should actually take the time and monitor what they do.

Hi Kimberly Glad to see that your making Video's again. Check out blogtv some of the big name YouTuber have been going live like sxephil was huge tonight with over 200 hundred viewers most I had ever seen on live blog. I think it would be great way to promote your YouTube videos.

Kicesie, I think your videos are always done tastefully, yet fun. I find it hard to believe there aren't companies out there willing to advertise on your channel. You certainly see ads all over the internet on things that are much less "family-friendly". Even here on YouTube, I've seen plenty of ads on vids that I wouldn't let my kids watch. I think you should find your own advertisers, you have plenty of exposure and audience to offer. Good luck!

I'm a school teacher, but on the side I'm a children's performer. I can relate to your frustration about needing to get paid to do what you do. I've always seen the job as being the most important, and the hobby to come second. Perhaps you should get a job first, and then let all of this stuff grow out of that. If this is all meant to be for you, it will come whether you've got a part-time or full-time job. But having no job and no security at all must be a bit stressful.
Just a thought.

I think all of your videos are amazing. You are out there teaching people who aren't getting it otherwise. There is alot of "hush hush" around the topic of sexual education. I think it is rediculous that everyone wants "safe sex" to happen but they won't do anything as far as teaching kids and even adults what to do. People are mostly too shy to go and ask advice in person. You offer advice to people you don't even know and I think that is awesome! Keep it up, I will follow you to another site.

Part 2. I understand the desire/need for income. And YouTube is the place to be to get the volume of views you need. Perhaps post PG versions (or trailers) on YouTube of videos, with links in the comments section to the full versions? Would that get you the YouTube traffic you need while allowing you to fulfill your desire to perform the sex education function?

Part 2. Figuring out what is and is not family friendly should be a no brainer, right? If you can't determine it for yourself, you can preview your videos with friends or family who have children and ask them.
But the real task is to understand what YouTube thinks is family friendly. I can't figure it out by looking at videos that get and don't get advertisers. They will have to tell you.

I click on the "Advertising" bit on the help/info part on the bottom of this page (then click content and then clicked on the #2 video). And from that video I learn there is a guy named George Strompolos and I guess he's one of the people that decides where ads go. Maybe you can find a way to get a hold of him?

Your videos are intentionally not for children, which I suppose makes them not "family friendly," since families typically include children. But there ought to be a category of advertisers that don't depend of family friendliness. There are plenty of non-pornographic adult products that I'm sure would like to advertise on YouTube (and some probably already do).

In my contract with youtube partner program there is a strict non-disclosure agreement. If I mentioned it to anyone I would be kicked out.... and that would seriously suck.
