is there no clips of good players in this game? im thinking of showing a playthrough in extra mode + hardest difficulty but i wanna see if it already exist, so far i havent found anything
This game is fully compatible with both psx 1.3 and epsxe playstation emulators for PC. Also not many people know that you can have the original arcade version if you get Taito Lengends 2 for PS2. It's exclusive to the PS2 version. You can also play the first game known as Rayforce and Gunlock in MAME which is a fantastic game as well. Raystorm is the Sequal to Rayforce.
looks like a 3d remake of galactic attack, a vertical shmup on the sega saturn made by the same company. similar music, similar gameplay, even some parts of the first level have similar layouts.
I can't even tell you how many hours I spent playing this game! I had so much more fun playing PS1 opposed to PS2. I think the games were just more enjoyable. I mean Raystorm, Duke Nukem Time to Kill, Tekken 2, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, X-Men Children of the Atom, and the list goes on... I mean graphics are cool, but good gameplay is cooler.
I have this and the sequel Raycrisis for PSone, thanks for the history behind it. I never knew this was on the PC too. This game is amazing, one of my favorite vert shooters.
I got raystorm and raycrisis today. I played through lvl 5 in RayStorm and used up all my conintues. It's a tough, but fantastic game. It should keep me busy for a while.
whoa! good man ur good at this game well its only the first stage but i suck at this game and cant get past the first stage without dying atleast once
probably because the PC I played it on still had an audio cable connecting the soundcard and cd-rom player (the music is cd-audio). I think many new pc's don't have that cable anymore. Still, there should be some possibilities to get it working anyhow.
no need of old audio cable, just enable digital audio track reading on your cdrom unity and make sure you're playing the game from first cd unit, if you have multiple cd readers.
Yeah, i see what you mean about the makers of border down having worked on this, you can see where the first stage of border down came from, its almost a side scrolling transition of this stage, same buildings and scenery and everything. I think this is a cooler game though as border down(as good as it may be) is lacking something and i can't quite figure what that something is...
man i remember beating this game. good times@!!

this is coincedence, albion du, fable 4?
binnieb20 7 months ago
@binnieb20 Not a coincidence; Albion is the oldest known name for Great Britain.
Many games (and movies) feature names in them that refer to (old) geographic locations, history, culture and religion.
