Lopes is a Portuguese last name. As a dedicated TLC fan, I remember one of her lyrics saying "my family came to this country", and remember that her father has Brazilian ancestry. Brazilians are mixed black-white, just like African-Americans, and Lopes was high yellow and had fair skin, so of course she has European ancestry in her family tree somewhere. Regardless, she was a beautiful HUMAN BEING, and I loved her, she was my favorite TLC member. TLC forever!

But I would say Lisa Lopes was "Bi-racial". Her mother was mixed and her father (not being of dark hue) was most likely mixed, too. But just to put it out there, if you look through the liner notes of the first album ( Ooooooohhh...On the TLC Tip) she made with TLC, she referred to herself as being "black".

I got Supernova by ordering it from Barnes and Noble. It's 100 times better than Eye Legacy. It's basically Eye Legacy the way Lisa wanted it to be heard.

The songs I really like on it are "Life is Like a Park" and "A New Star is Born".

I have only heard the samples from the Eye Legacy cd (have not heard the whole the cd), so I can't speak on it.

I really loved "The Universal Quest". You see "Eye Legacy" was composed almost entirely of recycled 'Supernova" material. They just sloppily threw new beats on it and added some D-list guest vocals. They used "The Universal Quest" to make a song called "Listen" which really did the original no justice. But I'm glad that other peole like Supernova

no, she didn't sing on all TLC's song. Just check albums credits. Almost all TLC's background vocal was made by Debra Killings. Lisa said she can sing, but she didn't want to. She prefered to rap. She didn't sing even at live performances, with a small exceptions.

Yes Lefteye has sang background vocals for tlc mainly on the First 2 albums and some on the FanMail album And 3d she spent most of her time doing missonary work in Honduras ,which was why she wasn't there during some of the recording sessions for the last 2 albums
