  • Arguing skills(sorry on iPod)

  • Why is it every time some poor bastard digresses from strict thought, you nationalists feel obliged to prove yet again the emptiness of your segueing skills and the ripeness of your hatred. Walk in each others shoes for a bit and learn something before it's to late for you.unless of course you enjoy isolation amongst like-minded clones.

  • Lan yarrak o baglama mi !

  • What are the chords for this? I too have a Baglama, but still learning . . . very basic! I have no teacher, but myself!!

  • Bouzouki = Bozuk (turkish mean broken) it's comig from dombra (Khazaks)

/watch?v=jOr5RQHXXXk they are playing komuz or kopuz and dombra

Bağlama isn't a persian because 25m. Azerian lives in İran. Bağlama belongs to Turkic peoples. Not only Turkey.

  • @kaederukawa39 FROM DOMBRA?Too bad it comes from an instrument named tamburas(bouzouki is a form of big tambouras). As I have written it comes from ancient greek trichordon that comes from assyrian pandura. This is the true story what dombra and bullshit

  • @AlexBouzouki

I don't know any shit about this instrument, but you are wrong in one thing, a VERY big mistake; baglama comes from the kopuz and dombra, it is proven to be an ultimate Turkic instrument.

What I don't get is why Greeks steal our national Turkic origin meals together with their Turkic names and claim it as their own!!!!

Why do you name it baglamas from Turkish and not tambouras or something??

  • @IMecnunI Maybe Greeks that came in Greece after the Genocide of the Minor Asia named it baglamas.Turkish names are commonly used throughout Balkans so I dont think we actually stole the name, because everybody knows that the real baglama is the saz. This baglamas is actually small bouzouki(Tambouras)

  • @AlexBouzouki

you used a wrong term there we didn't do a genocide so stop trying to provoke. or shall i talk about the massacre of jewish people and turkish people done by the greeks?

  • @IMecnunI What the fuck are you talking about.Massarce of JEWISH?Neither jewish dont say that.Ok you are a turg, you have to lie. This is what you said about armenian genocide, that it is a lie.Opa,Kucuk Erdogan apologised about the genocide.

Be ready, your nice prime minister will apologise for the 1.500.000 Dead greeks.

  • @AlexBouzouki I mean 500.000 Greeks.The Armenian dead were are 1.500.000

  • @AlexBouzouki

you started it you asked for it. it seems you don't know your own history.

yes you EXTERMINATED jewish and turkish people, EVERYONe exterminated but 1.5 million is a big fat lie, even history couldn't prove it :DD

ok you are a greek, so eventually I don't have to take people like you seriously

  • @IMecnunI I said 500.000

You are a dumb kemalist.WHEN DID WE EXTERMINATED JEWSH AND TURKS you stupid piece of kurd shit. You are the one that killed Armenians,Greeks of Istanbul, smyrna, pontus, thrace, and assyrians. The statistics of te Central Council of Pontus says that 300.000 Greeks from black see were killedby the animals(kemalists). Now live in your pink cloud. There are 20 million of Kurds, and many greek rebels in black sea ready.Be afraid of Israel too.BYE BYE and next timeuse your ass to shit

  • @AlexBouzouki

hahaha what a joke :D you don't even know your own history and you start talking SHIT here :D and because you can't prove' anything you start to insult, just like a prehistoric man :D congratultions

    what a G(r)EEK xD

  • Great music, where can I get the Tablature for old Rebetiko music? Im trying to learn the Baglamas but having difficulty finding such old music. Thank you for posting.

  • The greeks have the "Greek Baglama" That comes from the Original Turkish Bağlama, however they are somewhat different. wiki people, wiki.

  • @AnthonyPalazzari Turkish Bağlama comes fro Persian instruments...And Greek Baglamas comes from the Trichordo Bouzouki that comes from the old Greek instrument Tamburas that comes from the ancient Greek Trichordon that comes from the ancient Assyrian Pandoura...

  • @AlexBouzouki There are several theories. Turkish bağlama is also pretty similar to Middle Asian "kopuz" and it is also said that bağlama originates from kopuz. watch?v=G4tCtm6eYCk

  • Oreos re manga kai ya afto tha kapniso ena reefer king kush for u halalisou.

  • Does it really matter where the word comes from? Feel the musical sound and melodical rythm of this piece. It gets right through you! Great performance from such a "little thing".

(A Greek with roots from Minor Asia - Σμυρνη)

  • I'm still looking for beginners tutorial for the baglama. I've had mine for 3 months now and find it hard to teach yourself. I have 'Method for 3 string bouzouki & baglama', but it would be great if I could find proper (slower) lessons online!

  • Where can I find one for under $100? probably nowhere in the us -_-

  • probably you could find such prize in second-hand instruments...

  • @RandomTV47 you can ask greek immigrants in the USA.i am glad to see a foreigner wanting to learn such traditional greek instruments.i hope u ll find one

  • bravo!

  • bağlama: made in turkey ....... geeek : bouzouki instrument

  • baglama is turkish instrument! and it is different. i think this is a different type of bouzouki

  • @europcar06

yes, baglama is a turkish word. yes, the instruments are different: greek baglama and turkish baglama. but this is not the point. the MUSIC is the point my friend :)

  • @ghandee baglama is turkish word, but this instrument in the video is a very small bouzouki, a greek instrument that the greeks choose to call "baglama". Turkish baglama is a saz

  • @webplayer7 baglama is a old greek word. turks has stolen from greek.

  • maybe... both people lived together in Minor Asia, so they had common influence in music. The word "bouzouki" however has turkish root, it means "broken" (from "bozuk") because the instrument had the western notes on it, different from the saz or tabur the Greeks and Turks of Minor Asia were playing until then, and the Turks were confused, so they called it like that... However, i think bouzouki came from ancient greek pandourida or tampouras

  • the traditional tuning of the baglama is DD aa dd.

  • What is the tuning for a baglamas? And in what octaves are the notes?

  • whats the tuning for that instrument?

  • fantastic - please post more. I just received a baglama as a gift and would like to learn to play it.
