I find it amazing that this would have scored so lowly in C64 magazines at the time. For the C64, this was really all they could have done. Good controls, speed and even music - it still managed to pack in most of the good features from the arcade original.
Nice graphics, great music, good controls, original ideas = AWESOME game!! Propably the best c64 shoot 'em up after Nemesis if not better! Stages got harder just conveniently. I think people don't remember this because this was relatively new game, early 90's?
@hylkhylk you're joking, aren't you? though i really enjoyed this one, it stays far behind the possibilities of the C64 . Katakis, the turrican II glider levels and enforcer look better by far, and if you compare this to the amiga version you can see how many compromises were made
Nice game, the dragon idea is hilarious ;) I did not know that the C64 graphics were that good. I played some games on this computer in the early 90's but it looked very bad comparing to this.
@mjshikeli commercial games were developed for the C64 from 1982 to 1992 - as far as I know it's the only system that lasted that long. That's why there is a very big difference in older and newer games, the whole world of gaming changed enormously in that time.
looks like a good quality c64 game!

I would give it about 8/10 quite easily.

Err, the best version is of course for the arcades. It's has one more level which was cut from all conversions.

Brilliant, I remember this game. The music takes me back about 18 years. Great stuff! I could never kill the bull first time either.
