  • You could probably do an entire album of Robyn Hitchcock songs and that would be great!

  • That was an AWESOME cover! I loved it! Brava!

  • very cool

I'd like to hear a uke tribute to Rob - though I can't imagine anyone doing Linctus House on uke! (or Sweet Ghost of Light...)

  • I shore do love you Poopy! This is my all-time fave!

  • I'm still waiting for the album.

  • rock on, pee wee

  • good try

  • Could anyone help me out with the chords to this song? Fantastic cover by the way.

  • Brilliant.

  • a baby voice lol

  • this is really good!

I just covered "Swirling", though thats a different album (Queen Elvis)

    "Queen Elvis" starts off Eye?

  • I am quite a fan of the original, but I actually prefer this version.

  • Robin Hitchcock and the Chipmucks.

  • pretty cool someone doing RH on ukelele!

feel free to check out my covers off QE (Swirling, Madonna, QE)

I like - its pretty amazing someones doing this track on the uke! (Gotta restring mine!)

  • luv the wobbly bits in your voice! : )

  • Oh god, a banjo uke plus you would be so awesome. You gotta do it. Love this.

  • Brilliant! Excellent song choice and arrangement. I especially liked the feeling and emotion during the chorus section. Good job. I'd love to hear you play banjo uke sometime. God, you are so eclectic and unique. Please never change. Thank you for being so special.

  • i would love to have a banjo uke....

  • @poopylungstuffing have you got your banjo uke yet?

  • noooo.....not yet.....kinda been lately looking into resonator ukes these days....actually...but I still really want a banjo uke....I have a very old broken one...mainly just the body, which is in fine shape...I have dreamed of restoring...adding new skin..tuning pegs...possibly from a particular uke I smashed by sitting on....unless I figure out a way to add that neck to a cigar box....i sorta lack the technical skillz though....

  • well i have a couple of craftsman friends. i'm only in contact with one of them though. hmm... i'm not sure how i would go about exploiting their skills. i bet those banjo ukuleles are expensive, huh? right now i'm trying to save up $80 to get myself a used concertina. and i also need new shoes. as an adoring fan i'd love to help if i only had the means. :-/

there must be some fine luthiers in your locality. surely.

  • A great rendition (and this is an old and true Robyn fan speaking).

    Well done Poopy :)

    Thanks

  • Yay...You're back! I always love your songs.

  • Your joy is palpable. And bound to spread around the world.

  • Poopy is back!!! Yeah we have missed you ;)
