  • it this the fastest swivel?

  • @MrJoaoAfonso It is hard to say what swivel is "the fastest" because that can depend on the bag size, air pressure and the skill of the puncher. It is a fast ballhook but I don't know if they make anymore.

  • Dude, my strobe light isn't even as fast as you!

  • this guy could make any swivel look good

  • hey i have a question on speedbag platforms. i just bought a punching bag stand that includes a speed bag platform. its not the bag because its the second one i tried. i think the problem is that every time i hit the bag, the whole platform shakes and its not stable so it loses speed and i miss when i try to go faster because its on the punching bag stand, not securely attached to the wall. is there for this besides buying a platform that goes on the wall?

  • Sort of like freestyle nunchaku-putting your own spin on things, only with a speedbag.Cool.

  • fkin hell, best speed baller ive seen

  • WOW JUST WOW!!!

  • damn, best ived seen work a speed bag!!!1 good job

  • God damn 2:37

  • I have a old metal ball hook swivel i just cleaned up and polished!

  • Man you are so good at that speed bag. I want to be as good as you tell me plase

  • Man you are so good at that speed bag. I want to be as good as you!

  • this dudes amazing!

  • thanks for the reply, is there anything comparable?

  • This bag has a teardrop shape, so the 8x5 by top contender or 8x5 classic by title boxing. Both are great bags and fast.

  • alan,

what size bag and who makes it?

  • That is an 8x5 by Ringside Boxing, made about 8 years ago. Unfortunately, they don't sell this style anymore. It's a great bag.

  • youre really good man....how long have u been doing the speed bag and where did u learn such good control?

  • I've been doing the speed bag for 36 years.

I learned "such good control" under the board practicing. That's pretty much the only place you can....

  • dang, talk about superior dexterity.

  • Just great man. Had he been a pro?

  • ...been a pro "what"? Boxer? No.

Just a frustrated drummer trying to get a workout.

  • Awesome.

  • Hey, is there a way I can make my own speed bag?

  • I imagine there is but I have never tried it. I am sure there is a lot of detail to make all the parts fits together.

  • thats it i am now gonna be buying a bag, man that looks like such funa nd a great way to keep fit

  • Hi, can you check out my new vid and comment plez

  • spring ball? I'm not sure what you mean, but if you mean the Double End Bag with bungee cords, I don't have one up right now. Actually, I pretty much stick to speed bag.

  • Yer, thats what I meant. I'm pretty sure thats what we call it, here in Aus. 'Mann' you've got style... Thanks for responding. So just to confirm, you know it to be called the 'double end bag'. Any other names? Roc

  • Sometimes a "bungee bag". There is a small bag that attaches to a floor mounted steel bar with a big spring, like a car spring, in the bar - so the bar bends back and forth. kinda like a speed bag attached to a bar on the floor. It's normally called a "cobra bag" or "reflex bag". It could also be a "spring bag" because there IS a big spring in it. I do have one of those. check out the specialty bags on ringside boxing website to see them.

  • Awe Heck... What a fantastic display of discipline and control, matched so well by your choice in tunes. I hope to, one day soon, be able to produce a simular style. You have just beome my Guru in this field. Could you please demonstrate some techniques using the spring ball? Thankyou. Roc.

  • ARE YOU MARRIED???I LOVE YOU

  • Thank you very much. Is this your favorite swivel? If not, what would you say your top 3 favorites are in order from 1 -> 3?

  • My favorite swivel is a ballhook, especially the two piece metal. I actually prefer the shorter everlast model I show in the video, but it is not commercially available at the moment. This Boxing Gear swivel by Watkins fitness would be a good second choice. My third choice would probably be the plastic ballhook by everlast. Personally, I rarely us another model if I can help it.

  • You are amazing that is all I can say, you helped me out through email many times to get my speedbag set up and get up and running. You are a great guy keep it up Alan!

  • thanks. I am always happy to help out another speedbagger!

  • Whoop whoop thats the Speed Bag King for ya. Alan whats up man looks like ur speeding things up there at the end a lil faster then normal. I was like WOW easy easy IM THE SPEEDBAGSKUNK lol:) Im very happy to see u back on the bag and working it just like before. The swivel i dunno man looks a lil long for my taste but i think i will pick one up just to try it. Agian great video my friend!!! I cant wait to get back together for another double session!

  • Once again Alan you made the best out of that swivel! Im going to have to pick one up :)

  • PS, alan what about beeing filmed in ultra slow mo ? that would be cool .

  • If I still had my S-VHS Camera's with the variable shutter speed, yes that would be cool. Shooting at 500 Frames per second (instead of 60) and running it in slow motion would let you the small pits in the leather and metal. But these "modern" camcorders don't seem to have the variable shutters anymore.

  • ............awe....fan.......i dont think there are words to discribe your talent! tnks.
