@liquidyou The official version of You Know You're Right was published in 2002. before that, in 1993, 1994, there were a lot of live demos of the song with diffrent lyrics than in studio. That's why I think. Courtney just did the cover of demo version.

Also she was furious with him when he declined to be in the loolapalooza concert or whatever which would of paid a huge sum of money and since they were married she knew she could live off of his music for a long time which she has successfully done.

hard to decide whether i like this or not but probably because i love the nirvana version so much. it should be passed as some kind of law that it's illegal to cover nirvana songs. no-one can ever do them the same justice and that's no disrespect to any artist or hole here.

@huggies12345 In all fairness, the lyrics were kind of in fluctuation with Kurt for a while since the song supposedly came out of a jam. She might have pulled the lyrics from something prior to the version we know, like his journals. Or she could have changed them a little bit since, let's be honest, the lyrics we know seem to be taking a shot at her.
Having said that, this version is pretty bad.
