I came to know Utada just this year 2009. One of my friend introduce the song "First Love" and from there i fell in love with her!!!! But even if my friend did not introduce her to me, I would still have known her through Hana Yori Dango's track "Flavor of LIfe".

She's known for her very clever lyrics, she even cleverly used clever lyrics to reference her lyrical cleverness in her cleverly lyrical "Automatic Part II".

Wished she used more unique songs to flagship her album like "This One (Crying Like A Child)" (my fav + plus best reviewed track so far) or "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence - FYI", plus her CUT magazine photoshoot should've snuck in there somewhere - the album cover's kinda creepy compared to how amazing she looks on the cover of that mag.
