There are cheaters who will cheat once and never do it again. Just avoid the ones that are sexually impulsive/compulsive. There are some mental illness like mania that makes a person hypersexual then cheat over and over again and they can't stop it even if they try to. If you are not into multiple partners, you want to avoid these people.

in my experience you can't recover from infidelity. You can just leave the cheater and move on with your life alone.

i am going to make this blunt, I know its easy to aim for the guys. Women also go out to cheat on their men. They do this for fun and excitement. Or something is missing. Its not fair to point fingers all at men. I have seen other women cheat on my very best male friend whom his son looks like the other man whom the wife has slept with. It broke my heart to hear this and seen this. I can promise you this, Its better to look at both sides. I hope this helped out.
