FiliPhibian, it was only uncomfortable afterwards, about 3 weeks, the theater operation consisted of my face being covered up except for my left eye..I was awake for the whole thing, an anasthectic was injected into my eye, and the tumors (two) were removed, my conjunctiva was then sutured back together where the tumors were removed. Had to wear an eye patch for a day or so and then take eye drops till the redness and dryness went away.

My doctor told me that they naturally occur.I am of Afro-Caribbean descent, and in my case the tumor was nothing but harmless pigmentation because of my dark skin, so you could say that my operation was more cosmetic, though my eye is no longer sore now the tumor's been removed. I was warned pre-op that the pigmentation may re-occur within 6 months to a year, well in four years it hasn't, so I guess the doctors aren't always correct!!

Cancerous? oh no, the doctors tested it and informed me a month later that it was benign. If you discover something a spot like that in the video on yourself get it checked out.
