In my opinion, FF13 is the most over hyped FF game since 7. It takes 50+ hours to get to what people say is the good part, not something you should aim for in a game. Characters do not develop much(Lightning still is the determinator, Snow is the idealist, Hope is the whiny kid, etc.) and don't feel like real people. The battle system is messed up, and the story is all over the place at times. I do not enjoy this game, thoug

While everyone really has trouble standing up to Croix, the Ar Tonelico characters ALL feel realistic. Aoto Cares enough about those around him that he will save anyone, even those he doesn't know. I can't say much for Lyner, as it has been over two years since I played the original Ar Tonelico... Croix stands out so much because he is such a great character!

Ar Tonelico is such a great series because the characters feel ALIVE, which is more than I can say for some games... (FF13 anyone?)

I love this song. i love all the Ar Tonelico Hymns. Sadly my Ar tonelico 2 game dis ceased working right at the final boss so i never got to see any of the endings. But this song makes me happy .

Listening to this, and knowing what it means, I have to say this is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. I can imagine a couple singing this on a date, and the man proposing halfway through (during the pause.) Some may call it nerdy, but that would be a proposal that would stick forever. Call me a hopeless romantic nerd, but that sounds like a perfect beginning to a life of love and hope. If this sounds weird, think for a second in the most romantic cheesy way possible.

I was wondering what the meaning behind the song was and It sums up how Croix and Mir feel about each other very well.

Was anyone else shocked when they first heard Croix start to sing? Couldn't believe a male was singing in an Ar Tonelico game.

This is by far my favourite ending of the game and what I personally like to believe is cannon. It cements Croix's position as the best MC in the series. Neither Lyner nor Aoto did anything nearly as cool (or smooth) as this.

When I played At2 I was so rushing down the other Reyvateils Cosmosphere getting past the 5th Paradigm Shift, and then noticing MIR was the third Reyvateil,I was just SHIT WHY THE HELL DID I NOT WAIT???

I found this video a few weeks ago, saw Croix as the first singer - in Hymnos none-the-less - stopped it at 3 seconds in, and went back to AT2 to finish Jacqli/Mir's route. I finished it last night, and came back to listen to their song again, and read the lyrics. Happy end for AT2.

Mir's ending > any other ending. I love this song, and I have to learn Croix's part. IMO this has got to be cannon ending, I won't have it any other way. After playing Mir's ending as my first playthrough, I really don't care to go back and get the other endings now XD This song gets me so inspired every time I hear it. Also, Croix has got to be my favorite male lead from any game I've ever played. This video will be at the top of my favorites list forever!

Sigh.... Yeah, this is like...my favorite ending ever to a video game. My only regret is that you can't keep playing... I want to travel to Sol Ciel with Croix and Jacqli and play more of their story!!! T_T This ending is sooooo beautiful. Hehe, I kinda wanna learn it myself.

When Jacqli/Mir, sings "Even then, would you still want to share a single glass of wine with me?" I almost cried.(Trust me, not trying to be manly by saying I didn't) but It just felt like she was so heartbroken at what his response might be. (Considering they were in a normal conversation, which is what this song felt like. I felt the song was: she knew that he learned hymnos for her. But she wasn't sure if he loved her like she wanted him to and just that thought alone almost broke me down...)

I loved Jacqli's ending, mostly because she certainly deserves someone to love the most. And, Croix and Jacqli fit each other so well XD They're both so snarky.

@Suzumushi100 It's not only Lyner, Aoto is in the same wavelength, being a bit stupid, the classical hero "I will save everyone without giving it too much thought" and not too bright about his and the heroins' feelings.

But it's not their fault, Croix is that rare as a Main character and as part of a romance. Comparing is inevitable, and he wins by a large margin.
