Dorothy Maynor was a wonderful opera singer, and who certainly deserved more fortune and fame. I hope more Dorothy Maynor audios will find their way online in the coming years.

That would be a blessing. When I first heard this record, I was struck by the uniqueness of her voice. I think she would have done very well singing folk songs in the 50s and 60s when that style of music was actually trendy with the youth.
