@cstimpfl and @weride808 point panic is a bodysurfing area. no boards allowed. you can surf next to point panic, but only can go right, not left in to the area where the bodysurfers are.

The trick is get as much speed as you can so you can match the speed of the wave, otherwise you'll get swallowed up. Basically you're not going fast enough.
Here's a good technique I use, dolphin kick until you feel the wave under you, once you've matched it's speed then enjoy the ride, do tricks, or just ride it.
i could sometimes get a good turn but last for 4 -5 seconds

A general rule is whatever direction your going use that arm out in front of you, for big drops or powerful faster waves use both hands out in the front like a aquaplane. I am glad boards are not allowed there. It's the only bodysurfing only spot on the island! Walls/Graveyards is the only bodyboarders/bodysurfers only spot on the island. I get really annoyed with surfers at those spots. My cousin got hit in the jaw with a surfboard, and his broken jaw was wired shut for five weeks. He lost about 15 or 20 pounds. Let us have our three little spots, you guys have the rest of the whole island.

Talk about flip floppin; > Anyway, being that i lived on Oahu all my life,i know for certain that theres hundreds of spots around the island for board surfing...Panics is the only spot we can truly call our own...By the way,us bodysurfers are the ones that have to deal with the massive Tiger Sharks that frequent the area,so please dont be complainin.!!!!!

NO not easy to do...Most of these guys on the vid are top bodysurfers. Also, this is pointpanics, there's shallow reef so if you get sucked in it's pretty dangerous.
