Please don't buy asus OPlay Gallery it is dame slow and hangs some times when you put 1.5 TB hdd inside the OPlay gallery. Be Careful Asus support people does not help on this issue. they say that there is some problem in HDD. While I have put new Hard disk in it.
I am giving this information because you people should not lose your money.
@trinhk I was thinking that seeing me loosening some screws, installing a hard-disc and fastening those aforementioned screws would make this video even more boring than it already is. Besides installing the optional hard-disc is straightforward and really easy so no tutorial is needed.
@MisterCod1 No, you don't need to install an internal hard disk. But there is also a smaller version of this machine without an internal hard disk drive bay. It's called the O!Play HDP-R1. I think you might find that one more interesting than this ASUS O!Play HD2. Both machines are identical in playback capabilities. Just check asus.com . They currently have 3 different models of media players.
@MisterCod1 This machine makes no sound. There is no cooling fan sound or anything that makes annoying sounds. There is just one short gentle zoom when power is turned on.
This sums up what exactly?

Do you need a harddrive for it to run? I don't really want to install a HD as I have my videos etc on my NAS. Also, I want it as quiet as possible.
