Playiing the kit is awesome. It's really loud. Got great punch thanks to the birch, and great tonedepth thanks to the bubbinga. It's the perfect combination for me.

dude i miss him so much in rob zombie. they suck live without him. joey jordison has no groove and its killing them live. i saw them on the golden god awards and they suck without john. John is one of my favorites. so much groove and taste with a perfect mixture of power and speed.

The imperialstar is OK, but its an entry level kit plain and simple. If its one of the best kits you have ever played on then i feel sorry for you as its been a wasted 10 years.

a glove inhibits the atriculation on his snare hand so he can't play as many ghost notes and soft snare parts. i have seen other drummers do that.

TY- i can't stand gloves on on either hand so i was curious why he did that.

yeah, grip tape should be enough protection. if you have problems like carpel tunnel then you should def. use gloves. gloves absorb much of the shock that goes through the drumsticks but makes the stick hard to articulate. if you play jazz then you don't need either gloves or grip tape.
