  • Very nice - the red case fits the system... like a mini sports car.

    Props.

  • How did you put that "info grafx" logo on there? making my own portable console, would like to know.

  • Printed onto waterslide decal paper. It was a pain to use, a lot of failure went into getting one that worked nicely on the surface!

  • Using sticky-backed printer paper is best BTW.

  • I can't say I like the shape, color, or the big logo LOL...but the workmanship on this is quite amazing. Really really nice job man.

Did you ever consider using the 6 button controller in your design? It sucks that I can't really play Street Fighter on my TurboExpress with it's 2 buttons.

    :-(

  • Design and colours are personal options, what I wanted and that's what matters! Regards the controller, all the games I have were designed for the normal 2 button controller, and as I used an official controller, that's what was used in this portable. If you make your own system, you can of course make it however you want!

  • @MrCumstein I didn't mean to offend you. I think you do excellent work.

  • Any tips for a game cube portable. im starting mine soon.

  • Sure, there's some great information from different people on my forum; please join it and participate!

  • Wow that actually looks factory made!

  • That's damn impressive.

  • Good work, though I assume you did this for fun considering the turbo express played the same chips

  • Making portables is for fun. BTW this has a larger screen and more battery life than a TurboExpress, and cheaper too.

  • you could've made it smaller, but most of the time when you make a portable, you use a portable ps1 screen, that's why most are similar in size and weight.

  • Nice job on the mod.

  • Because the turbo grafx was never invented

  • is it possible to use and NA TG-16 CD on a PAL TG?

  • That is soo cool! Man i wish i had one of those!

  • very cool mate

  • you sire are a big gunieas i am working on ps3p and i am keep restarting it but now i nearly finish i will make a video when i am done on it!

  • how much would it cost to buy one these off of you?

  • Not selling it, certainly for a while, may do in future.

  • Wow. How did you make the vacuum mold case? Very nicely finished.

  • Thanks! Please see my Wordpress site for details of how it was made.

  • Could you make a wiring guide for the TurboGrafx system

  • DId a guide on a PDF file, on my Wordpress site (link via my profile). Going to mod the Japanese version of the TG16 (PCE) in due course too.

  • looks much better and handy then the porteble n64 cuzz it looked bacteria.

  • Please elaborate, I don' t understand what you mean?

  • Dude that is so past cool! When my mom gets me a turboduo for my 16th birthday I think I'll try sometin' like this!

  • You really make want to have one like that... i'm jealous... lol

  • Follow the guide on my Wordpress site and you might be able to...

  • which one? o.o

  • Modding Guides > TurboGrafx

    Hope they help!

Regards case making, etc - please check out my other videos, especially my current N64 video guide log project...

  • yep it helps, but i think i'll stick with buying an actual TG-16 ._.

  • Oh, and also check out the "Chat" section, if you want instant modding help!

  • If you use a 8-bit microproccessor like on the arduino mega and linked it straight to the screen, you could make the whole thing smaller and use much less battery. But you still did a GREAT job!

  • Great job MODDEDbyBACTERIA. It looks rad :D

  • You are sad Mike. You make the PC Engine community look bad.

  • Great invention nice

  • Excellent job Bacteria! A vast improvent over the TurboExpress! From what i can see, the psone screen looks loads better, without the anti-glare nice and bright. I admire all your work Bacteria, Keep it up!

  • Lovely! I blew up my PC-Engine (don't ask), and my Japanese cards won't work on my TurboGrafx, so all I can play is Chase HQ at the moment. Something like this would be IDEAL. Would you ever consider taking commissions?

  • If I could fab &/or mod worth a damn I wold love to make one of these. I have a huge stack of HuCards.

  • omg this totally makes me want to fire up my old 16 and play R-Type

  • very nice project!

    pro, as usual.

and i LOVE the on-off switch...!!!

  • Excellent! Well done!

  • How did you get that INTOGRAFX sign onto the vaccum formed case? is it a sticker? or have you somehow printed it onto the case?
