It may seem like he does a little bit of damage but with that one combo (which can be pulled off just about anywhere) he gains so much of his meter allowing him to do his super almost whenever he wants to. A lot of damage comes from that super and to make things better you can link it off just about everything (even his grabs) I know you didn't really ask for an explanation or anything but... I just thought I'd point that out (as a hazama player myself)
It's nice to see it from a Hazama player's perspective, personally, I'm thinking of picking him up as my secondary. It doesn't matter to me if he's low tier. But thanks for the input anyway, I appreciate it.
I'm not sure what you're complaining about. The Hazama player wins the first game and damn near wins the second game, and goes round per round with Dennou's Jin. He seems perfectly fine to me.
The reason he's winning is because he's more skilled than the Jin player. As far as I was seeing in this match, he had to work much harder than the Jin player for his wins. If you pay attention, when he screws up Jin wrecks his day up, easy in comparison. On the other hand the guys above knows what Real Talk is about.
Hazama does have a really good keep away game to be honest. Not to mention that getting in with him is also very easy. But yes he does need to work a bit harder for the win and as you can see he doesn't handle pressure very well. I've lost lots of times to players who really know how to keep up the pressure but as long as you keep them a comfortable distance while still keeping the pressure on them you should be fine.
damn thats one agresive hazama

why did Zakiyama try to special at 11:51? Does that shit even chain? He could've won the match QQ
BoItCrank 1 year ago
@BoItCrank I don't think, I think that he tried it because he thought that Dennou wasn't going to recover, or that he would recover in it...
Warriorkiller666 1 year ago
1:07 does zakiyama dash backwards to get good spacing to use his ouroboros, cause that's what it looks like.
TheGosu 1 year ago
@TheGosu yes, he want to take Jin to the corner so that he can make more damage through corner combos

@aoitenshi526 lol saw that too. Seems like Dennou is Zakiyama's new rivalry after kaqn

It seems Hazama is really comfortable in the corner, he seems to have a pretty vicious loop when in the corner,

There was a combo reset there...but yeah the second combo did about 50%

@Emillll Oh dear god, no wonder Jin could do all that much without at least 50% - 75% heat...

I've seen high damage Hazama combos before. They usually involve multiple chain grabs.

Jeez, Hazama just does too little damage for what he's worth and doesn't seem like he's got a good pressure game either.

he 's a middle strong character, definitely not low tier.
Hazama's basic bread and butter combo gives him like 35-40% heat, so that's one of his big strengths.
