@thrivesurvive I'd read the article, I was surprised as you are. I'm looking to starting a juice feast at the end of this week, hopefully, I get my nut bags in the mail before Friday. I always check out Lewrockwell d o t c o m everyday. They discuss things that mainstream media doesn't want you to know. The technology today is advancing so fast, that a lot of ideas that we thought were absolute are not so simple. It's exciting but it does drive you crazy sometimes.
i did a Master Cleance for 7days and i survived and it was good i was strong i even worked al the days/
people are different so maybe it is not for you, but MC is the best than juice, master cleance has no sugar only from the lemonade so i wonder which MC you are reffering to.
@blessedfay I'm referring to the regular master cleanse. Maple syrup is sugar. I'm glad you did well on it. 7 days is fine for MC, but for a longer fast, I would definitely recommend juice. I would never do a 92 day MC, for example.
This video is 2 yrs old but I hope you know now that sugar is what your brain feeds off of. In those "fruits!" :) What happened near the end there.. sending you my <3 and thanks for the tips!!
@SuperHaven7 In the fasted state, which is highly ketogenic, the brain will adapt to use up to 70% in ketones, which are products of fat metabolism. Ketones are what you brain will run-on while sleeping. Fasted state means low to no dietary carbohydrate, or protein (gulconeogenesis), including juices.
I enjoy watching you. I am taking colonics and am on my 10th on Monday Nov. 30. At first alot of yellow poo came out then kept coming out darker and darker and last week I passed a HUGE piece of "mucous" and that when this is in the intestines is causes pain.
I think this would be the perfect thing to do after a feast like what you went through,
I am so glad your colonics are so productive. Are you juice feasting or eating raw as well? Thanks so much for watching and for your wonderful complement. :)
You video is really informative and real. Just remember if you are doing a juice cleanse try to get organics produce. Juice and veges are great and you can get a lot of nutrients from them and detox.
Just hang in there. make sure you drink enough juice. It's hard to drink as much as you need to keep up your caloric requirements. you will have more energy if you are still getting your calories in. I hope you have an enjoyable juice feast. thanks for watching!
Do you get any colonic enema or salt water flush during the fast? To avoid constipation?
I tried Salt water flush and I vomit like crazy, but after I puke my stomach out, I started hosing them out through my butt, it was messy, but it felt good and light afterward.
How often should I flush my intestine during the fast? Once a day? I'm fasting for 12 days, but if I feel good I might go further. But 21 days is my limit.
It's been over a year since I posted this video, and I assure you, I have eaten some food. :) Can't say I'm any better at communicating in front of a camera though. It's not that easy to spill your guts to a lens, but I do my little bestest. Thanks for watching!
That's great. :) It's strange that your last comment on my other video said you have been drinking veggie juice for moths, yet this comment says you are on day 10. Both comments were made within the same hour. I guess you have been having juice for the last few months, but not JUST juice, which is why you weren't bored. JUST juice for months gets boring for anyone, even if they aren't an alien.
I just watched an interview with you and your husband. You're 34?!!!! You really do look about 21 or 19 even. Unbelievable! Just wanted to say that you and your husband look amazing, the way I want to be again:) It's really inspiring! Thanks guys! -Kirk
Thank you so much! That's actually not my husband. It's my raw friend, Paul. My husband is actually 5 years younger than I (I know, robbing the cradle!). :) Paul is in his 40's though and he seriously looks like he is in his late 20's. And he has the energy of a pre-teen. Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment and complements. I wish you health and vitality!
You are a sweetheart. Thank you very much for your kind complements. :) It's hard to answer your question, because my idea of what is "healthy" has changed dramatically over the years, and, as a compulsive overeater, even in my best intentions, I do not always eat as I should. I have been raw for a bit over two years, but not 100%. Lately, I have been eating some cooked food and feeling dreadful. I have a lot of improvements to make, but I am certain that I am on the right track with raw food.
Added to my favorites:) I've never done a fast in my life. What do you recommend starting with, what kind of a seven-day juice fast would be good for a beginner? Any good links or thoughts on that? Thanks!
veggie juice should have fiber removed. drinking only veggie juice for a prolonged period can be very healthy depending on what your goals are. it all depends on your situation.
Your message generally, and especially at 04:10 or so, is superb. You absolutely and resolutely must research, comprehend, and beleive in your purpose for fasting, as the world at large will pit itself against your goal, urging you to eat and questioning you. You are quite insightful and speak with great experience. Another good point: tell ONLY trustworthy people who beleive in you, avoiding those who undermine you. The end of your video is funny, where you just sort of pause and look around.
if you have a problem with hunger or weakness I'ld recomend enemas or colonics evey other day, along with a fresh vegie broth. that'll help replace the minerals. don't knock a booty fast until you've tried it (0;
I tend to Detox every six months with a Raw "vegtable only" fast for fourteen days. I normally accompany this with Lepicol once in the morning and once in the Evening(This is the only water I drink on the fast).
Lepicol replaces the bacteria you lose and cleanses the intestines and colon.
Stay away from water diets as water is a diuretic and will flush valuable minerals out of your system and cause dangerous levels of imbalance.
Be safe and always consult your doctor for monitoring xx
How do I stay focussed? Well, the healthier I eat, the more grounded and focused i become. I used to feel like a zombie just floating outside my body before I went raw. I couldn't focus on anything and was always very distracted and irritated. How do I stay focussed on my goals? When I start to get tempted or distracted, I read as much as I can about raw so I can remember why I wanted to do it in the first place. I don't watch tv because it's very counter-productive to the way I want to live.
if i go long days with juice only yeah i do feel better but i get loads of gas.. espetially in the evening!and if i add the F.O.S. powder to my juices...oh my god!!i never stop farting!!!so i tend to juice during the day and have a protein with salad in the evening just about 15 or 20 minutes after my last veggie juice... bye everyone.. Andrea from Lewisham, lONDON
yes about 2 months and feel lightfull full of energy..i don't want to finish ever..feel so nice so i can understand you..do u make any grain milk ?almond sesame?
I used to make almond mylk but I don't crave milk of any kind anymore. It's just too heavy for me. I tend to have green smoothies when I want something other than water. My son makes mylk out of all kinds of seeds and nuts (because I don't buy him cow's milk).
So are you actually fasting? A fast would be water only. You mentioned all kinds of foods. That's not a fast, but it sounds very healthy and cleansing. As long as you are getting enough calories and nutrients, you never need to stop.
Did u even read The Master Cleanser book by Stanley Burroughs? Ive viewed many video's on the MC detox and i see a lot of ppl. just using the recipe w/o even knowing the cautions, benefits, how to come off the cleanse, etc. Also everyone's strength is diff. I'm almost at the end of day 3 of the MC detox and I'm doing just fine. The first 2 days a bit sluggish but my body had to get use to it. Today i was very much more energetic, exercised, laundry. don't knock it till u've read the book at least
Of course I read the book, and I have done the master cleanse. Don't make assumptions. I never knocked it. I just said the juice feast was better for me.
Hey Reese witherspoon! This girl is so cuute - no one said that so I thought to. You seem a little sad. Is there a raw alternative to cooked Maple Syrup?--what if you're trying to eat raw??
Thank you for your complement. I think Reese is very pretty so I appreciate the comparison. : D
I am feeling much better since I posted this video. I decided to go 100% raw for the rest of my life as of today. I use agave nectar as a sweetener, and raw honey is great too. If you are asking in regards to the Master Cleanse, I would suggest you try a juice feast instead of the MC. It makes so much more sense and in my opinion is far more effective and easier.
i want to mainly lose wait. i want to do a juice feast but cant find any free web sites to let me now about good juices. the biggest thing is how much juice can i drink and how often?
juicefeasting dot com has tons of free info. basicly, drink 1 gallon per day and include 1 big head of celery and two big bunches of dark leafy greens. you can use whatever you want to make the rest until there is a total of a gallon. Look under the blue tabs on the juicefeastiung site. You don't have to subscribe to get all the infor you need free. I wish you health and vitality. :)
I don't think I want to be over food addictions. One can be RAW VEGAN or RAW PALEO and still be addicted. I will replace old addictions with new addictions, raw vegan or raw forager (e.g. honey?...) ones. I believe in fasting and applaud anyone who can take something valuable PERMANENTLY from a 1 to 101 day fast! I am NOT personally for Paleo, by the way!!
I am starting a juice fast today!! i need to lose sixty pounds and overcome my food addictions and my addiction to caffeine and coca cola! its good to see videos!! check out mine and send me advice if you have the time!!! thank you for your insight!
Congratulations on embarking on your juice feast. My best advice would be to make sure you always have some juice ready so you don't get hungry. And incorporate as many greens as you can stand. I wish you health and vitality!
I know what you mean. I tried that for a couple of days. As far as going raw, I didn't quite succeed on my raw diet. I still crave hot food, so I just heat up the sauces and the rest are raw. I'm 80% raw right now, but the good news is I've been very consistent on my yoga. :)
I wouldn't say you "didn't" succeed, because you are still in transition. The only way you can say you didn't succeed is if you just give up. 80% raw is VERY good, and the most important things are 1. that you are consistent (unlike I, who is 100% for a long time, then I binge), 2. That the foods you eat that aren't raw are healthy and unrefined. You are doing great!
Thanks! :-) I'm starting a new 28 day challenge on Feb.6 ! I'm doing a 28 day detoxification. I always do my 28 day challenge during a new moon 'cause I like to be in sync with the cycles of the moon. I'm happy with the results so far and I feel great! I also threw away the salt and switched to sea salt and himalayan salt. :)
cool. I look forward to watching your videos throughout your detox. I'm eating a crazy salad right now. I made a wacky gogi berry dressing thats so good, yet so weird. Sometimes I get lucky when I start mixing random things together. I probably couldn't duplicate it.
:) thank you for the support. I haven't ruled it out yet. I think i will be more inclined to do it once the weather starts warming up and i start to see more juicy fruit. It will probably be easy when it's warm.
You remind me so much of Reese Witherspoon!

juicefeasting dot com has tons of free info. basicly, drink 1 gallon per day and include 1 big head of celery and two big bunches of dark leafy greens. you can use whatever you want to make the rest until there is a total of a gallon.
