Been offline for just over 24 hours, and it's not just a case of scrolling your sub page-having looked on mine some YouTubers that I always watch are on page 3 or 4 of my sub page and it would have been extremely easy to have missed the fact they posted.

Ironically it was only the email from YT where they summarise the recent vids posted that resulted in my finding this one!

I just guess what I'm saying is that add to the fact time is limited, it's easy to miss the fact a video has been posted

Thank you! I was telling SSJ that I get these emails from YT that inform me who has the newest videos. I don't find that a nuisance at all, in fact - sharing a video in combination with that is the best way - IMO - to know of the community's postings.

It's so easy to miss posted videos.

It's so nice to see you give such a great shoutout to Cooksterz!!! We've subbed each other for ages and it's been a great experience. I fall behind EVERYBODY on occasion but I always go back and catch up on a few people.... Cookie being one of them.

One thing that slows me down is on the videos of people I regularly watch I almost always read all the comments. It's time consuming but the experience just isn't complete without it. I'd have to clone myself 3 times over to watch everything.

I think we're all guilty of "ignoring" our subs & videos. As you said, it's so easy to get distracted & side-tracked.

I also feel that a lot of us have been drawn away from YT by the lure of other sites & applications. Also a lot of the people we used to watch just don't post as much, or at all.

I sense a revival though :)

Lazydork was my God. Levels of creativity and play on words there were amazing. It's like when Paul McCartney said: "Not a fan of rap - but I admire Eminem for creatively playing with words to great effect because that's what John and I used to do."

Yep... I'm guilty. I may not be able to watch all the videos and people I am subscribed and I do pop in once in a while to the ones I've not been able to catch up on. With over 400 people I'm subbed to, I know that I subbed to them for a reason and don't regret at all. I just do the best i can or visit a channel and say Hello if I don't have time to watch vids. I couldn't handle facebook as well. That's way too much to add to my plate.

I think everyone has this ... for some time you're more community oriented and being full of inspiration and motivation. But with the time you find out that there's also some stuff you miss in your private life. I make this experience in the moment and I think I am maybe putting my vlogs on my private channel on facebook only visible for my friends instead for the whole world on YouTube.

I think YouTube also changed because of the Partner Program and the whole thinking of being viral.

Comments though is where i need to improve. Mostly i don't leave a comment because i can't think of what to say or i have typed out a long comment (with what i would call humour in it usually) then deleted it due to me thinking it isnt good idea to post it.

I have been a lot less involved in youtube. It's not that I ignore people as such, it's just I've been finding the whole youtube experience less interactive than I used to. It was the interactivity of youtube that most attracted me in the early days. Now I think youtube has made it harder to interact, I find not so many people freely exchange comments or join in as much as they used to, and I am busier maintaining personal relationships. Just less activity all round in the way it used to be.

I am a Netflix and gaming junkie. So when i can rip myself away from YT, i am falling asleep to the other 2 things. I dont know how you do it and me having a "gyspy" life the last few years, and the freedoms/pitfalls that most dont have, i think ive grown more in those life experiences, than any internet whatever will amount to.
