There are a few end of stock lines kicking around still and a few on ebay. The Captain looks OK and apparently shoots far better than the Guardian, although I have never tried one.
Only on 08 Bowtech General manufactured from Oct. 07 to July 08. Big recall, only 1% of serial # specific bows, not all of the bows, they just recalled all General's manufactured from those dates to be sure and safe.
i have had the opportunity to shoot the guardian and its super smooth and with a nice limbsaver stabilizer has ZERO vibration/recoil. hits the target before it leaves the bow fast!
Its a great bow, very fast and accurate if you shoot it properly. Because of its speed it will punish you if you get it wrong. Pull hard against the wall for the best shot.
i have a brand new guardian for sale if any one is interested!

That Guardian is a nice bow. I just wish they were still available as I don't like the looks of the new captain as much.

I think there was a problem with the General, that was recalled, but I have never heard of a Guardian having problems.

This is a great bow. Its the first and only compound I have ever shot but I would'nt swap it for any other.
