  • Sing it David Crosby!

  • great to see some yougsters like real music and not that xfactor crap;

prediker hope you liked the c&n show.

  • Thats certainly them better song. I'm a 15 years old french boy, and this song reminds me that i wasn't born in the good time.

  • @HippieSaveTheWorld I'm 32,and I can say the same...

  • Yeah, the bodys may get older but the spirits behind the singers remain forever young and the songs are without age!

  • It sounds like cashmere feels...

  • had the 8-track in high school-where did this kind of rock go

  • With a buck knife?

  • ...... wow

  • when I finally get my shit together.....

  • With all he's been through, David's voice is just aging like a good wine. Maybe not all of the range on the high end, But sol much more in soul that can only come from experience. A richness that stands the test of living.

  • Please don't get too Emo on me today. Back in Sept when you were lost & I thought you were gonna die out in the dessert, I got so depressed that I cut my hair with a Buck Knife & almost sliced my throat!

  • I hate to see David Crosby old.

  • @ninonxandxco He looks beautiful. Don't get so hung up on the packaging. We are all going to get old. Too much emphasis on the surface of things results in what the Hindu's call "maya" which translates roughly to illusion. Focus on the heart and soul of the man inside and the message. Then you might know true happiness.

  • @cozmiklinc You're right, but some people become miserable old men and rockstars like Crosby don't escape it I think... In more Crosby drunk exessively when he was young, maybe its not very good for him...

  • What a great performance, i really get in the groove when this tune hits me:-)

  • No recording, no tape, no video ever comes close to hearing David Crosby live. Seeing (HEARING) David Crosby live, should be on your bucket list.

  • shit! i just cut my hair... where's my freak flag now ?

  • @snowcrab11 But I didn't... and I wonder why... Go snowcrab!

  • Rock'n and Roll will never die....

  • I cheered watching this.

  • why did I cut off my hair... I'm stupid.

  • Thoght about a hair cut today. then remembered this song & said fuck it

  • "My grandpa is fucking awesome" - said some kid watching this video.

  • @stefanodanin no my dad is awsome >.<..

  • The Darkest Hour is always just before the dawn.

So great these boys are all still alive and playing.

  • One of the best songs CSN does, and you don't get the opportunity to see very many versions. It slams me back to the 60's, too.... what an intense ride that was!!

  • great quality

  • Good Song! Truly, i like the majority of the musics of CSN and have just 13 years, like the guy in the main comments xD my favorite is Cathedral

P.S in 2012 CSN will make an tour in Australia and New Zealand!

  • Allererste Sahne!! Möge Gott die alten Herren schützen!

  • Sooo good to hear that my fellow leo hasn't lost his mane and bite after all those wild years! I wasn't even born when he started his career, but I absolutely adore CSN(Y)!

  • I am not giving in an inch to fear!

  • Letting it fly for over 45 years

  • I love that Nash NEVER wears shoes when he plays. He didn't when I saw him at the Beacon this August, either.

  • I will NEVER cut my hair.

  • What is this song called?

  • nash is killin those harmonies! awesome STILL

  • Calling DeadJesus100. Calling DeadJesus 100. Uh, if you're still here... gimme' a holler... I gotsa question...

  • I just love how he never actually did cut his hair:)

  • we were all there once

  • Timeless!!!!

  • ✭ CHEERS MASTERS! ✭

Great band with great people no matter what

  • CSN and sometimes Y=Da Bomb. David's still got the pipes and Stills can still shred. These guys are rock n' roll to the core. Keep wavin' that freak flag, boys.

  • Ma vie ils sont avec moi partout, number one love you and so neil young

  • These guy's are still great.

  • Shit, accidently I added the letter "Y" :S

  • Sooooo damn coooooool!!!!!!!!! CSNY still makes incredible sounds!

  • Awesome. :-)

  • CSN is 2 billion times better than any modern rock shit like Radiohead. Im serious. These guys have soul passion and lastly talent.

  • go Steven!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn, Crosby sounds great, hasn't let the years get to him at all.

Steven Stills is still a beast of course. That guy is a fucking titan among gods.

  • This is such a great song. I can listen to it over and over. BTW. I'm Going to a concert of Crosby and Nash next week!!!!!!!

I really hope he will play this beautiful song.

And not everyone who listens to this song has to be older then 40. I'm 13

  • Love it, but, there is some HUGE irony!! HUGE!

  • Im flying freak flag long and high

  • David Crosby´s voice and skills are unbelievably good for his 68 years old!!!!!!

  • After watchin this 3 time I decided to go back to the 60's so next haircut will be when I turn 60 in 2019!

  • @jhpowlton

after watching this you just gotta get yourself a drink man

  • Freaks me out evertime I cut my hair!

  • Man, they still sound great. Timeless!

  • This is it and just the way it is... No Moe?

  • soundin better than ever!

  • Stills is one kick ass mother fucker !!!!!!!!

  • 2.38 to 2.56 is pure genius.

  • This group provided the soundtrack of my youth.

I have a sinking feeling I look as wasted as they do compared with days of yore - except Graham Nash, who clearly has a Portrait in the Attic...

  • Awesome as always.

  • crosby is the best

  • eight people got their hair cut because of the law of their jobs. It happens folks.

  • david crosby is 70 now!

  • where's neil young at? :/

  • You better believe it, CSN rocks, they blaze and sing it just as true today as it was back then at Woodstock, and it ain't over yet for them or any of us of any generation...Let your freak flag fly!

  • Can you believe the sound of that Strat????? And David's voice? I'm going to hit replay. Living Rock Gods still among us.

  • they should wear "old guys rule" hats.

  • Damn! David can still sing 'em good!!!

  • 56 years old and still letting my "freak flag fly"

  • Son of the bitch,, this performance is fucking beautiful...

  • The kids today dont know what music and harmony is!!!!!!!

  • @wingo7433 Actually alot of us (including me probably) got brainwashed by the media that YOUR generation created for us.. That's my short version of the truth anywayz

  • Gives me the chills.

  • while this is entertaining to us, this is yet another song that will go down in the dustbin of history as inconsequential.

  • He has such a clean and powerfull voice!

  • You know, the comment re inventiveness,,, he has a point!!! Just such a shame this current generation has such a sheer lack of creative talent we are still listening to music written 40 years ago, and that includes people born after 1990 too! There seemed to be a flowering of talent in the 60s, that hasnt been seen in such proliferation since.

  • @jennilou100 You're wrong That HAS BEEN seen in such proliferation of talent since the 60's. The only problem in the music industry is that it was not done professionally 50 years ago. Now the music business is a marketing where they take, use and put artists in the garbage because less it lasts more it makes money. There are great artists nowadays but they're not in the mainstream anymore. When you love music, now, you have to be curious to find and support rare artists.

  • @jennilou100 The talent has been suppressed. Musos got too powerful, that's why they killed Lennon.

  • @jennilou100 the talent is there, it's just not given the spotlight because they can't market it to people that aren't just into good music. The music of today is more like fast food where it's even served with a free toy, to people that just want to fill a whole. If you have the hunger for good music, real music, you'll find it.

  • @jennilou100 You dont have to listen to music written 40 years ago, but you want it. There's a lot of good music nowadays. But mayby you dont want to find it, because youre stuck in the 60's. And thats a shame

  • @lazysquirrell2 We all have our definition of what good music is, to each his own my friend.

  • @jennilou100 So what?! We are still listening to music from Mozart, Beethoven or Vivaldi. This isn´t an argument at all.

  • @jennilou100

Art/music et cetera is a reflection of the state of humanity. Generally music always has sucked because people essentially suck. But every few hundred years you have what is called a "Renaissance."

Everything came together like a cosmic aligning. The jazz-listening beatniks, the topical folk revival, the soulful bluesmen, Vietnam, the popularization of psychedelics; it all came together and exploded into revolution. It won't happen again until everything becomes one again.

  • @jennilou100 As a die hard fan of CSNY and the flowering talent of the 60s...here are some of this generations amazing bands. Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine, The National, Spoon, The Head and the Heart, The Arkells, My Morning Jacket, Joel Plaskett, Josh Rouse There are more. we have brilliant musicians with great sensibilities working today. The problem is how stupid my peers are. Cut the auto-tune pre-fabricated bullshit and listen to some real music, like CSNY and those above
  • yaa

  • @imdoubtful u know there isn't one old rock band who writes new music,

these guys are dead inside, even the stones can't

  • @DeadJesus100

Do you honestly think that after playing a show of all there old classics they just go home, put their slippers on and sit in their rocking chairs? Music is all these guys know. I bet every one of them has a recording studio in their house and they will be playing and writing NEW music every single day. All three of them have released albums of NEW material in the last 10 years as solo artists or in other groups. Think before you speak.

  • @DeadJesus100 obviously this old rockers don't need new songs cause we like the old ones. dead inside, ha! are you 12?

  • Cielo santo, la hostia

  • They are really good if you think about it. One of a kind.

  • let your freak flag fly!

  • The Coatail Rider does good!!!

  • When did Wilfred Brimley take up singing?

  • @mypsmells doctor said it'd help with the diabeetus

  • Nash's vocals are just fantastic, i'm guessing he's the harmony but what a class act.

  • Weapons grade awesome. Fuck hair dressers man!

  • lol top comment.Kids.

  • Wow! Even better than the original studio version ... such feeling!

  • what great great art

  • 2:35 :O

  • Always loved this song of Deja Vu, listened to it since I was a kid. Seems like on this live version Stephen is channeling Stevie Ray and Hendrix in his guitar playing and David is channeling Howling Wolf and YODA and others in that vocal rendition! So glad they are still willing to get on stage and play. Hope to catch them again some day.

  • Absolutely brilliant. Long live CSN.

  • ya gotta admit...those boys can still pick the guitars, can't they?

  • ArchAngels of Rock.

  • Crosby still sounds great. (if it looks healthy - long is ok. however, chances are that your daughters are right - is it straggly? does it look dated? - looks should be revamped every now and then - for the same reason people update their wardrobes)

  • in primary school i was forced to learn the recorder. why oh why wasnt it the eleteric guitar ?!

  • Rename it " Almost have no Hair left to Cut " !

  • @TheFishMiester Au contraire! He does pretty damn well with the few follicles he has left!

  • David Crosby still retains such a powerhouse soulful voice! All the drugs couldn't destroy THAT voice! :)

  • dont you ever cut your hair

  • its was a statement.. a statement of freedom and rebellion agaisnt the norm. .. what we went thru with our parents and the disagreements...but we stuck together and there definately was a bond then .... i would love to see us as a society like that again. no harm done and no violence.

  • Steven Stills never got much credit as a guitarist yet this performance and Wooden Ships make me wonder at times.

  • I can't stand when a band member ACTS as though they know how to play an instrument when in fact they don't. I'm embarrassed for THEM... Just sing... your vocals are great... and appreciated.

  • @MegaYoung54 Which one are you talking about?

  • damn... epic... awesome...

  • Not one comment on who is playing lead??????

    Damn he's good.

  • Let me be very clear- there will NEVER be another band like CSN

  • DAVID FUCKING CROSBY

  • Graham really loves Dave...it's beautiful.....Steve is the biz....even after all these years what hair I have left on my back is raising..more hair on my back than on my head ackshully!.This bunch are plain amazing. Love them

  • Separate the hooey from the chair!

  • Amazing years after he still got the same voice :) ♥

  • these guys are still the bomb, never will be anyone that'll be able to take their place!!

  • CSN&Y時代の、デヴィッド・クロスビーの劇作"オールモスト・カット・マイ・ヘアー"2009の再結成ライヴ~当時血が騒いだ曲のひとつ、スティルスはMY・GUITAR・HERO

  • I almost cut my hair. I almost cut my soul. Dont cut your soul!!!!

  • i think graham nash has the glue man,

  • I have got to find this video........of the whole concert.

  • absolute perfection and so good to see Stills ripping up there!

  • check out that finger point graham nash gives that rippin organist 1:59

  • DAMN CROSBY!!!!

  • History. Great!!!

  • did Nash plays always barefoot??

  • @aramiscubs3b yes

  • I hate it when people say that this song makes no sense. Fucking rap and pop music makes people so ignorant.

  • @AaronSkone I hear ya. lets see if the Fucking rap and pop can preform in the gray hair years like this.

  • fuck yeah

  • It doesn't get any better than that right there, folks.
