I have been going through cancer treatments and heard this song. The first line grabbed me because I felt like nothing that day. When the holy spirit got finished with me that day I really and truly felt like a child of the king. I have never felt the spirit that way before. Thank God for this wonderful song.
I'm a big Perry's Fan....I have loved them from the beginning. I must admit that I miss Randy Perry and Denise Helton, they were both dynamite but Libby and Tracy have carried on and, in my opinion, still have one of the top Southern Gospel quartets and I'm very thankful that they have kept the "SOUTHERN GOSPEL" sound. I have no use for much of what is released today as "Southern GOspel" but I will not get on that soap box today!
@papashakey Libbi Perry Stuffle is the one in the blue. The soprano, in the red outfit, is not Randy & Libbi's sister. She is Denise Helton, who sang with the group from 1988-1994. She was featured on songs like "The Rock of Ages", "I Remember the Day", and "Grace."
If you can watch this without feeling the Holy Spirit, might want to check on your relationship. WoW! I know this is an old video, but the power is still just as real.
I love this song, i used to hear it on radio, I didnt know who sang it untill just a week or so ago. Im glad we got to see the Perrys the 14th at springfield mo

I notice that Randy and the one sister left, leaving the other sister and Tracy. Are Tracy and her married?

Awesome video. What is the relation between Libbi and randy?

Sister and brother.
KEyboardman1975 2 years ago
@singingsilly They are brother and sister. They and their older sister, Debra, formed the group back in 1970 on Christmas day.

@SoGospelFan Yes, but Denise is not a member of the Perry family. And she is to whom he was referring.
