I have saved my money to buy a HDtv for my ps3, and have not yet got one because the NGP(next generation portable) or PSP2 comes out in a month, And I don't know wether or not to spend my money on a HDtv or save it, and buy the NGP or PSP2. HELP ME YOU-TUBERS!!!

@ScoI291 yess that is true, the original xbox 360 isnt that reliable, thats why i want to get the new xbox 360, perhaps they corrected its defects, just waiting what people say on it after maybe 2 years... PS3 is very reliable and superior, but has a nic price tag way out of my price range

@MrEricenriquez nah actually, the fail rate for the older xbox's were like 54.3 % and they dropped to around 48%...not much of a difference if you ask me, just saying though ahah. And dude, you can get a PS3 for $250....Xbox costs the same.

Honestly, the quality looks amazing on CRT televisions with a PS3 or Xbox 360. I don't know why so many people hate them. Maybe they're spoiled? I don't know.

One time i hooked up my Sega Genesis to my 27'' LCD Insignia, and somehow it didn't feel natural. Then I hooked it up to my Sharp CRT TV, and it felt just right. To me, I love old and new tvs, but prefer to play my retro games on my CRT the same reason why I would play my new games on my LCD, it just feels mre natural and better.

I feel the exact same way. Old Sega and PlayStation 1 look kinda bad on HD televisions anyway. They look way better on SDTVs for some reason. In my opinion, of course.

CRT Televisions are actually proven to have a higher quality then HD Televisions becuase the pixels are closer together, and the image looks less "blocky" or "choppy".

Well, if your using an LCD TV, then that's because LCD televisions have to blend pixels to make one single pixel if they're not in their native resolution. If you're using a CRT TV, then something is wrong with either your eyes or your Television because All RCA composite cables work the same with CRT Televisions, and I can see my picture fine.

I know my tv isn't the best but picture blending makes a better picture. You obviously never witnessed a blu ray through HDMI on a 1080P with a good brand of TV such as Samsung, Sony, or Panasonic.

Blending doesn't make the picture better. If you have an LCD Monitor, turn the resolution down to it's lowest setting. (800x400)
