    Are you playing on Bass clef it that correct? that'sall I can ask you,

    cos I think I play on bass clef because i can't go back on treble clef it is too late for me....any idea should I go back on trebl clef to start learn on treble clef or have to stay on bass clef let you know I'm deaf I use love music and i got horn with me to play on bass clef. Any idea would apperciate it, and well done on the jazz and ur horn is interesting, Mark

    Mostly I play in treble clef, but I do read bass clef. Given the transposition for Horn, it seems to work best to write mostly in treble clef. However, I am often asked to read trombone parts and those I have to transpose from bass clef (concert pitch). All it takes is practice, I think...

  • @mtaylorjazz : thank for information cheerio. Good luck on Horn Jazz, one more thing your mouthpiece when u play it is big size than size 7 or 12, i know ur mouthpiece is comfortable as i tho sound nice jazz..

  • @FirstBus27: The mouthpiece I'm playing on this concert is a custom one by Greg Black that I had made years ago. I think the bore was about a 12 and the inner diameter was probably about 17.50mm...
