I don't understand the realism with Mama here, she had a change of heart because you cooked a meal by her instructions when it really should have made her have a darker appearence or tone. It dosen't make sence to me at all. Your views of the game does make sence and provides the entertainment in watching what isn't considered animal abuse in action.

2) I was just contesting your point that animals were "created" for food. Many co-evolved into their current predator-prey relationships. I also don't think we shouldn't eat meat at all for arbitrary reasons. I think we should think about how we get the food (factory farms, gestation craates, etc.) but am not a vegan/vegetarian. I also think PETA means well, and does some good stuff, but the Humane Society is much better.

There are vast bodies of evidence to support the theory of evolution by natural selection, including fossil record, similar embryo development, the peppered moths, etc.

They have found early human (Australopithecine) fossils dating back 3.75 million years. Simple life has been around for billions of years. For humans to become so advanced, develop technology, government, agriculture, domesticate animals etc. in 6,000 years is crunching it.

WHAT.. the crap is wrong with PETA doing this though? This is disgusting, and I really didn't need to see this... I am going to have nightmares tonight. And, no, I do not eat meat and in fact, I hate meat. But its people's right and they shouldn't try to CHANGE peoples eating habits. Really PETA? You don't get soaked in blood by picking feathers off of a turkey... and the cooking mama games are meant for children. What if a 5 year old found this online? Good luck with that. 2) I was just contesting your point that animals were "created" for food. Many co-evolved into their current predator-prey relationships. I also don't think we shouldn't eat meat at all for arbitrary reasons. I think we should think about how we get the food (factory farms, gestation craates, etc.) but am not a vegan/vegetarian. I also think PETA means well, and does some good stuff, but the Humane Society is much better.

@Werewolffy I don't take scientists' beliefs seriously because they are scientists. I take them seriously because they have EVIDENCE to support their claims. Here's what I can argue just off the top of my head.
1) Certain biblical events are so improbable they are obviously meant to be metaphors and not taken literally.
2) If we all did come from two people, the human race would be incredibly inbred. Not to mention the kind of biodiversity we see today would be IMPOSSIBLE coming from two people

@Werewolffy If you think about it, the huge variety of traits and characteristics we have would not be possible coming from just two people. Neither is it possible to turn dirt into a human (lacks the basic building blocks of human bodies (i.e cells. carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorous, etc.) or turn a rib into a human.
There are vast bodies of evidence to support the theory of evolution by natural selection, including fossil record, similar embryo development, the peppered moths, etc.

@Werewolffy Another thing about Creationism which is impossible is the theory the Earth is only 6,000 or so years old. Firstly, fossil records. They have found early human (Australopithecine) fossils dating back 3.75 million years. Simple life has been around for billions of years. We have found evidence of human civilizations earlier than 4,000 BC
For humans to become so advanced, develop technology, government, agriculture, domesticate animals etc. in 6,000 years is crunching it.

@Werewolffy Another thing refuting young Earth theory is radiocarbon dating. You see, we have lots of Carbon in our bodies. Most carbon ins Carbon-12, which has 12 neutrons. An isotope, Carbon-14, is less common but still exists. It is a radioisotope, and decays slowly. Because we know its half-life, and the approximate amount in an organism, and that our bodies stop producing/getting it after death we can measure how much has decayed and how long an organism has been dead.

The first organisms were likely plant-like producers, which evolved into sea animals, which lived for almost a billion years before "crawling up" so to speak, on land. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but not to their own facts. I am not forcing my beliefs, I am asserting my theories. It is you who operates on blind belief alone. I don't have my "ideas," I support well-known theories.

However, as God's existence cannot conclusively proven (or at least has not) and most theologists agree God is an unmeasurable entity, Creationism is not a scientific theory, as it cannot be proven correct. So Evolution is really the ONLY scientific theory of origin, and a pretty solid one at that. Darwin clarified in the later editions of his book that Creationism is a religious thing
