The cupholder in the rear is in the fold down armrest and there is a computer hook up via usb memory stick for updates and if you have show some consideration you can choose which of the two compartments you click as you raise the center storage compartment lid so its not a problem. I have the SE and it feels real solid to me. I've never owned a Ford. I had an Impala SS '96 a Honda del sol VTECH, a VW '04 Golf TDI, Pontiac Trans Van, Honda Accord, a Subaru Baja and I like it the best.

I don't know about the "SE" model, but, I have the SEL and it DOES have cup holders in the back seat. If you pull down the center armrest in the seatback, the cup holders are hidden on the other side of the armrest. There are 2 cup holders with the same rubber "pull out" trough that's in the front center cup holder. Perhaps because it has cloth seats is the reason why this model doens't have cup holders in the back seat. Mine are Leather Seats.

i just drove a charcoal grey fusion off the lot - I'm going to keep it for the weekend and sign for it on Monday if i like it. I admit, when the salesman linked my cell to the car, and told me about all the other perks (voice navigation) I knew that I could have signed today and safe a trip Monday - this is a wonderful car and yes @07Roadking - the rebates and discounts will lower it down to the mid $18's - if purchased from Ford - very impressive :-)

Looks like a pretty nice, well-built & solid car! I would definitely consider this car. The one thing that is a negative for me is all that chrome on the grille. If Ford would tone that down a bit, that would be awesome. I like the interior and the dash; everything looks well laid-out and clean.

@bgoldrock If you get the "appearance package" it features a colored grille, like if you get a Black car, you get a black painted grille. It looks real cool.

@bgoldrock ......there is a monochrome appearance package as an option...one of the modifications in that option package is to have the grill the same color as the body of the car.
